I just purchased this ( hourglass veil ) a few days ago and have tried it 2 days in a row now. Not crazy about it and was considering returning to Sephora. I’m a sheer/light coverage lover and I love to use my fingers to blend in my foundation (I LOVE MAC Face and Body!!)… but, with this foundation I have to say I loved the look of it better on the side that you used a brush❤ it looked fabulous!! Airbrushed actually… just gorgeous!

Most of my skin damage hyperpigmentation is around the top of my forehead and and of course the mustache I just use my sigma concealer and those little spots or color corrector and then I use the sigma cream blush or the Dominique cream blush depending if I want pecor peach I set my cheeks with a bronzer mascara browse and done with this stronghold setting spray cuz I live in AZ

I've never been able to find a great shade match with Hourglass complexion products. I tried 4 shades with the Soft Glow and never got a good match. Their cool undertones run orange and even their neutrals run yellow. This might be better for some because it's a sheer coverage product, but I've been burnt to many times to do it again!

The Danessa Myrick it has much more coverage. This one is more skinlike. I would consider the DM to be more of a foundation than skin tint.

I am just loving these tints! As I had mentionned before, I always hated foundation, would never be able to find one that pleased me! I would always end up adding in my gel biotherm moisturizer and some of the clarins I think way back, creamy highlighter before it was even a thing! Which ended up being like these tints! They are finally giving the rest of us something more natural! And being 45, now is when I am wanting it more daily to even out the colour et fill in a tad the lines! We are just so much alike, except I have the farthest thing from a calm voice :-D

I was very tempted but your comparison to the Nars helped me so much as I love that one as does my combo skin and it’s the ideal amount of Matt/glow for me so I think the Hourglass would be to light & glowy for my combo skin which has slight scarring too so the coverage works great from The Nars one. I picked up a sample this in the Shade 8. I wear the Chanel Sublimage Cream B32. This shade was almost a perfect match to the Chanel. I have been looking for a lighter option for summertime use. Most skin tints break me out. I had already put on all my skincare before applying. I did use the Prisma Libra powder to set. I will try it again tomorrow without my skincare moisturizer. It has preformed all day like the Sublimage, with lighter coverage, just what I wanted. Here on the Gulf Coast are having temperatures 98-102 degrees almost everyday for the last four weeks. This skin tint worked out beautifully in this heat. I will purchasing this shade. I have never used Hourglass products. Can you offer a the lightest of setting powders for this skin tint?

Been scrutinizing the swatch you did to see if it is but it looks pretty neutral to me. I have a yellow undertone but I absolutely dislike using a yellow undertone base! I just always feel like it’s giving jaundice on me 😂 thing about neutral sometimes I have to pick a very light or a slightly dark when I’m looking at the range, you know what I mean? They make the light wonder tint it's on CT site not Sephora,I know this because I really wanted to try it and I thought they discontinued it but I was watching someones CT recommendation video and she recommended it and I was so happy to see it on her site so I could try it. The hourglass is creamier, the radiene is more liquid, but the finish is more unique on the hourglass. I would probably pick the hourglass but I have to try them side by side to see the exact difference

It's the color and amount with that concealer its like you have to find your perfect shade and it's so hard with that line. I definitely think I want to try the skin tint , skin tints are my thing I'm not a full coverage girl and I wasn't into any of their foundation they had but I wonder if they have it in Ulta because my crappy little Sephora doesn't carry hourglass and I want to find my actual shade . I'm loving the D. Myricks tint right now I might weight a week or 2 to buy this one.
