Great to hear your analogy about seasons resetting the mental clock. Like a quarterly metronome that serves as a reground throughout the year. Plodding through the middle of winter here in rural Australia. I enjoy the fresh cold air and freezing days luckily however it still has the effect of hemming you in to some sort of monotony without realising it. I also love the uplift of a warm sunny day what the feeling brings in those times of the year. To write something conclusive, I would say your decision to make only one video a month has been a great reminder and something that has truly worked as an awareness to be grounded in the moment of the days, live less inside our minds and just live simply. There are times we require deep contemplation but it’s equally as important to pull things back to a clean slate so the mind has room. We’ve chatted in the comments before and I want to say how truely grateful I am you created this space to talk. I’m sure all your listeners are just as happy when your videos roll around each month as I. Be well my friend.

Thank you for the kind words. Seasons give so much variety to life that in the summer I find it hard to imagine winter and in the winter I find it hard to imagine summer. But each has its pleasure, in the summer the comfort and ease of being outside and in the winter the extra coziness of home.

Well said. The disease of wanting more is killing us. More money, more gadgets, more clothes etc. Simplicity is enough
