Hi Loretta! I love this idea of the houses, I hope when your finished you show how you bind them together because I dont know how to go about that, I am somewhat new to this, I have never made a fabric book but back in the early 80s I made a quilt. I just love your work and You explain things so well.

Thank you! There was another project I did last year called Bird Song, and I went through how I put the book together in one of those videos. I also touched on it lightly in the video before this one when I was just discussing what I was going to do for the project. Love this series. During Covid, my little quilting group did a house block exchange. I recently found mine and can’t decide what to do with them. There are 9 blocks and even with sashing they do not make a quilt big enough to use and I don’t need another wall hanging. I did your bird block series and just had a lightbulb moment while watching this. I will make them into a book! Thank you.

Not sure what you did with your house blocks what about backing each and clothes pin them like clothes on a clothes line.

Boy, you didn't waste any time! I love that trim around the door of your first house. The junk journaling world has been detrimental to my studio space. Now I can't even throw away scraps I used to consider too small to be useful!

How do you have such young looking hands? 🙌

Thank you, Karen. I don't do anything special, but for lotion or hand cream I use Cetaphil. And that's all I do, really. I think some of it might just be genetics, because neither one of my grandma's had age spots until they were into their 80s, I'm 58 so hopefully I'll stay on that time frame. :-) Thank you for the compliment! Not sure where you live but you can get it at Target or Wal-Mart, even Costco.
