House Build Series #4: Foundation - Footings and Walls

The Monkman Forming crews are on site several times in this video to construct the forms and pour the concrete for the footings and foundation walls for the house. Brody Hodges and his team are back on site as well to start the backfilling process. At the end of the video Joel Dijkema of Dijkema Electric is on site to start making plans for connecting the house to the electric grid.

I’m gonna have to go back and watch from beginning this house build series. Things good out here on the coast. If your ever out this way lower mainland island let me know love to have a beer. So many questions, frost depth, costs, engineering, permits the whole thing. You tube is an excellent resource but just seems to really only skim the wave tops on info! Hello Peter. You do not have a shortage of stone on this property. I see this feature in New York state where a lot of it is shale. Have good days!
