House Construction - Day 16

House Construction - Day 16's plan is to plywood the rest of the house roof and build out the rear porch roof rafters & maybe get some underlayment on as well. I will try and put 2 videos up a week starting next week until the framing is done. So check Back often. Well try for Monday & Thursday.

Great video. Loved those puffy white clouds in the beginning that looked like giant puffs of steam. Clever way of putting on the underlayment from top down, very efficient use of time and materials. Lots of determination there working into the dark of night. Stay safe.

Thanks.. Ya they do look nice with the time lapse. I need to do a time lapse sunset off the mountain's edge one of these days when it stops raining. I think that would look nice. Ya two reason why we put the underlayment on like that. Main reason is because the pitch is just walkable. So doing it this way we can keep the cleats on the roof and work our way down. The second reason is if the underlayment gets warm/ hot your not walking on it causing damage or leaving marks. Ya the guy, Rob that came down to help had just under 3 weeks that he could do it / help. So from start to finish it took us 18 days mostly just the two of us a couple days friends/ family stopped by to check it out and help out. So not to bad for a guy that turned 67 two weeks after he went back home and myself. Will do. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave us a comment.
