Excellent to see such clear Necromunda gang build videos! If I've gone ahead and got the nacht ghul and the upgrade weapons, is there a build you could recommend that's a mix of the last two lists in the vid? Maybe a long rifle / infiltrate combo?

Nice lists, I'm using them to build starter gangs to build up a Necromunda group. However, I noticed some price discrepancies between the book and your Standard roster. The Nacht-Ghul and 2 Ghosts cost 10 points less than what you list, leaving an extra 30 points. I couldn't find where the extra points are going.

I came across the same issue, plugged everything into Yaktribe and came up short. Also, is there a better way to handle master crafted in yaktribe? I had to make custom entries for the MC longrifle and shivver. One last question. for getting a leg up in a campaign, I'm thinking of going with 2 nacht-ghuls, one with shivver and one with fangs. Thoughts?@@CommanderCheapSkate

Great video! Can you explain about the use of Overseer? Where do I position my Master and who do I put the Overseer ability on to give them more actions? The skill means I lose my whole activation with him which feels not as nice, so wondering

Traditionally, you use your Master's Overseer skill on a Champion armed with a powerful shooting weapon. The Master will need to be within 6" of that Champion to use this ability. My suggestion is to keep your Master behind cover when you do this, since they will be vulnerable. My favorite technique is to get your Master and Champion into a good, preferably high, position with good fields of fire. Spam your Master's Overseer skill on the champion, which will give them two sets of activations. From there, have your Champion use a basic action to aim and a basic action to fire twice. Hope this helps!

I would go with my Cheapskate Build in this video! It pretty much does everything that you could ask for. However, it does require the use of "proxying" for some of the weapons. Now if you're going for a WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) gang I would suggest the following list below: Master of Shadows (100) = 255 credits Mesh Armor -15 Master Crafted Long Rifle - 35 Web Gauntlet - 35 Photo-Googles - 20 Overseer Skill Psychoteric Whispers - 30 Technomancy Discipline Manipulate Lumens Delaque Phantom (85) = 245 credits Mesh Armor - 15 Grav Gun - 120 Autopistol - 5 Photo-Googles - 20 Obfuscation Skill Faceless Delaque Phanton (85) = 160 Credits Mesh Armor - 15 Master Crafted Long Rifle - 35 Autopistol - 5 Photo-Googles - 20 Obfuscation Skill Rumor Monger Delaque Ghost (40) = 90 Credits Flak Armor -10 Lasgun - 15 Autopistol - 5 Photo Goggles - 20 Delaque Ghost (40) = 90 Credits Flak Armor -10 Autogun - 15 Autopistol - 5 Photo-Googles - 20 Delaque Shadow (25) = 80 Credits Flak Armor - 10 Twin Autopistols = 10 Smoke Grenades = 15 Photo-Googles = 20 Delaque Shadow (25) = 80 Credits Flak Armor - 10 Twin Autopistols = 10 Smoke Grenades = 15 This uses only items from the boxset and everything matches up. The Master of Shadows, Phantom #2, and Ghost #1 will make up your support team, shooting at enemies at long range and suppressing them. The rest will be your assault team assaulting forward. With the Book of the Outcast, use the Master of Shadow's Manipulate Lumens ability to create blackout conditions, and the Shadows' smoke grenades for extra protect. The Faceless skill will protect Phantom #1 from being shot, while Phantom #2's Rumor Monger skill will help to cripple your enemies in a campaign. Otherwise, you can substitute with the Cunning Overwatch Skill instead! With Photo Goggles you will control the engagement with Black out conditions. Later on, you can purchase Gun Shrouds for your gang for extra lulz in stealth mission: like every Delaque should! I hope this helps!

Great informative video as usual, but since the major gimmick of this gang is 'spamming' psychers and the Book of Outcasts brought in a whole bunch of new Psychic disciplines and powers with associated 'passive benefits' that any psycher can choose instead of their own House lists' powers, have you considered making a 'follow up video' discussing some of the possible Psycher combos one could make with this gang? Here are a few combos I came up with, while trying to figure out how to make this gang work: - 'Blackout' champion: Phantom psycher with Psi-Touched (if you want to get off the Wyrd power more reliably) or Rumor-Monger (if you want to farm Reputation to get that 2nd Piscean specter as soon as possible) starting skill, using Technomancy power 5. Manipulate lumens to turn Pitch black rules on/off at will (regardless of available Tactics cards, territory boons or enviromental effects) - Delaque have access to discounted Photo goggles and Gun shrouds so they can really capitalise on this trick. - 'Supergun' champion: Phantom psycher with Psi-touched or Infiltrate starting skill, using Technomancy power 2. Overcharge to give +2 Str and +1 Damage to 1 gun they are using (at the cost of making it unstable) - for example imagine this on a Boltgun (which could have a Gun shroud if you want to stay hidden in Pitch black), becoming Str 6, Damage 3 Ap-1 Rapid fire (1) (that is basically a Heavy weapon profile without unwieldy, that can take any gun attachments and costs much less than an equivalent heavy weapon) that can also re-roll Ammo rolls due to the Technomancy passive bonus. - Enhanced Piscian specter or Psycher Nacht Ghul: give it either Biomancy (= roll extra injury die when recovering) power 5. Quickening, to gain +3 Move, +1 Ws and +1 I (effectiveness depends on how your group rule 'maintaining wyrd powers, but works great if you have an Overseer in the gang to give double activation to the Piscian specter/Nacht ghul) or aletrnatively give it Divination (= once per battle gets to re-roll any dice rolls during an activation - usefull with his 10/6 attacks on a charge due to Paired weapon) and one of the 2 passive powers from that discipline (so you get the passive benefits from the discipline without having to use actions to try casting the wyrd powers): 1. Precognition to always get to chose the scenario or 5. Warp wispers to increase the size of your crew by +1 over the limits of the scenario and re-roll reinforcement rolls. Also consider that a Nacht ghul could turn its Serpent fang into a Force weapon to give it Power and Sever traits to make it deadlier later in the campaign, when Damage 1 weapons might be insufficient... I think these 3 'psychic combos' can give shape to your Delaque gang and help it excel in either melee or range even against the other more specialised gangs. Anyway, keep up the good work and cheers :)

I'd say yes, because the Psychic Discipline rules state that Psykers can take any discipline. But I wouldn't begrudge other Arbitrators who would disagree.

Its a brute that you can recruit later on into your gang. Like I said, these are just starting rosters, and you can add these later on if you want. I talk about them more in detail in my Book fo Shadows review.

I'm honestly glad they nerfed the Delaque gangs access to shooting skills. It wasn't really very balanced for them having the best two skill trees in the game as primary picks. And anything that discourages people from making super dull overseer leaders is a plus in my book. That skill just sucks the fun out of the game. I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to take the harness upgrade for Psy-Gheist. What GW was thinking make it so expensive I don't know (may as well just save another few credits for the house brute if you want a flying melee psykers!). Especially when your Prospects are best used moving up with other gang members for support and get very little benefit from the extra move. It's not like they have the stats to take advantage of the melee buffs either... One slight problem with your cheapskate gang build. I don't believe the Delaque gang sprue actually contains any webguns? Best way to get one is probably the Genestealer Cult Neophytes kit (which has a lot of good conversion bits). Or to use the web gauntlet it does include to convert something.
