Thank you for sharing insights- great couple Reflections on the implications of the UK ( conveyancing solicitors) this year barring Brit Expats from using their UAE funds to purchase roperties in the UK. Air B & B in Dubai is the lastest cash spin- although the service charges in those markertable areas- are not for the fool hardy investors-

Im doing the opposite and selling half of my worst performing rental properties in my portfolio in the UK and moving to Dubai to flip properties! 😂 The UK is painfully slow to flip these days due to ridiculously long conveyancing processes

I'd be very careful investing in Dubai. My friends bought a property 10 years ago and about a year ago the husband died, wife has lost the property as the contract and law stated the female has no legal rights to the property.

Wait. So what is the conclusion? Using ur savings to buy rental property is shit unless u also fix it up. And when you do you refinance and put the increased value into a new deal (but is that enough to make a new investment? ) and repeat, then let the tenants pay down the loans and build equity and soon enough surplus to live from? Or rwnt a property for a lower long term rate and let it out on a shorter term basis or rent out to more people in the same fromt door (hmo)? Huh
