Apparently whoever designed this isn't aware of the cardinal rule that you shouldn't use dark colours in small rooms. It makes them cave-like, cramped and claustrophobic. Ceiling or accent wall, maybe... And it should be dark walls/light flooring, or light walls/dark flooring. Not both.

Your colour choices are hideous. Dark green for the bottom floor and cream/pale yellow for the top floor would have continued the classy look from the previous areas.
