I grew up in a house built in 1832 - oil heat and radiators, with the vertical pipes running along the walls instead of behind them, since it was stone originally heated with numerous fireplaces. When I was young the furnace wasn't working, so we had a wood-burning stove for a few years. Anyway, ain't nothin' like sitting on a hot radiator when you come in from playing in the snow.

"it looks boring to play and even boringer to watch " That's how games look when people are unenthusiastic and don't get past the tutorial. You're damn right this video was boring to watch and that's all on Hat Films, plenty of other people have made great content on this game, which is why these guys are doing it anyway, to get some of those clicks. Kitchen had racing stripes and the fridge was facing a fucking wall. Put a pillar in front of a window, painted it purple because why the fuck not, but I left one side brick. Ended up swapping out the bathroom door for an underground bunker door, filled it with MREs, guns and a baby crib, because you never fuckin' know, do you? All in all it was great fun and chat hated me.

yea... in The States, we have this thing called Gas Heaters. Most radiators are in older homes. also we have lots of laws to protect people from the government invading their property. if someone owns the house they could literally not have a roof. The only thing that would happen would be that the kids would be taken to child protective services.

I don't think heating or cooling is *EVER* required on houses for purchase, possible for condos being rented. -Iowa does not require heating or cooling for sale, sales of houses are all done by private business(including banks) or by the owners themselves. -Another note, "radiators" specifically are not required either. Forced air, geothermal, radiators, and window units are most common.
@averagehero73246 жыл бұрын

I live in America and have never seen a radiator in real life. I'm not even entirely sure what they do. I assume they heat the room?
@Mach_Style6 жыл бұрын
they are common in older homes here in the US. basically water runs into the radiator and it gets heated, putting off heat for the room. they arn't common here any more since all modern builds of homes use central heating and cooling.
@JoeyMarshall6 жыл бұрын
Yeah water pumps through them and gets heated up as necessary, you use a boiler and (If you have central heating) can control the temperature required to turn on and off the radiators and at what times.
@chrism456 жыл бұрын
Well Mach actually the water is heated in the boiler room and is then passed on to the radiators that heat the room. They sometimes don't require electricity and just use petrol or gasoline as well.
@Mach_Style6 жыл бұрын
it can work both ways. You can find electric radiators that have a heating element that sits on the water inlet side and is heated right there before the radiator. But yes you are right. The master boiler is probably the more common if the radiator system hasnt been updated at all.
