House hunting is so fun but so stressful at the same time, I love seeing housing in other countries and places, soooo interesting! House number two is so nice, love how spacious it is! House number 5 is so nice, the kitchen is stunning too, that's so crazy how you were being scammed, that's great how you trusted your gut feeling and decided to pull out of the contract!

Yesssss I loved house #6, I actually bidded at the auction for it but didn't get it cos it sold for way higher but super happy with the house I ended up getting 💕

gurrrrl house hunting in melbs?!??!! at 22?!?!? what suburbs are you looking at??? my family lives on the mornington peninsula (im in canada now) and i cant even dream of buying a house anywhere near the city! so so excited for this series! would love to know what the housing market is like now post-lockdown etc.

i would encourage all home buyers to have a look at the casey municipality. plenty of houses under 700k

That is so cool! It’s deffo key when finding a home you need to just completely fall in love with it & love the whole vibe! I was so excited for this video and the entire series!! it is so interesting to see house hunting from a different country. I think my favourite one was house number 5 I was so cute although I loved the bright concept of the 6th one a little bit more. A dishwasher is a MUST HAVE haha! It makes your life sooo much easier I cannot believe someone built a house without a dishwasher hahaha. All these houses actually looked really nice. And seem pretty reasonably priced! I'm excited to see what you picked and bought 😁 When you talked about railing, I would be so scared of living somewhere without it. I'm to clumsy for it too! I'm so glad you didn't lose money and were able to back out of the scam 😶😶 We definitely need a story time!

Which website or estate agent do you go to? I've been going online and it seems way overpriced especially for the 1 bedroom apartments. Do you recommend townhouses as opposed to freestanding homes?

Realestate.com.au was the only website I used! I personally actually recommend smaller estate agents- First National is really good, definitely do not recommend Love & Co as they were reallyyyyy bad! Both townhouses and free standing homes are good - I recommend free standing homes tho but if you're going for a townhouse I would recommend finding one without body corp/strata cos you'll be stuck paying body corp/strata fees every year + you can't do any external changes without their approval. Also have a look around other suburbs cos I know some suburbs are more expensive than others 😊
