House Leveling - Jacking up a House (raised three inches)
This video shows the process I used to raise one side of a two story house that had settled about three inches over its fifty year lifetime. I was quoted 21,000 dollars for the work by a company that is known for this work, but was able to do it for about $700 in materials and lots of dirty and sweaty labor. The video is meant to share the process that worked to level this house, it is not meant to serve as a guide for future work. Each job is unique and requires careful consideration.
