10 years ago, the internet gave birth to a mysterious R&B crooner who surfaced the internet from the unknown, debuting a masterpiece, "House of Balloons". This was a strange and unusual sound I was unfamiliar with... but I couldn't get enough of it. Around this time, I had just begun working on my channel releasing piano arrangements when I decided to give Abel's body of work a chance. It felt raw and honest. Rather than arranging top 40 songs, I decided to arrange The Weeknd's music as I connected with his work on a musical standpoint. So in hindsight, I guess you can say there wouldn't be 'The Theorist' without The Weeknd's 'House of Balloons'. So I present you the House of Balloons Piano Medley. Thank you Abel for inspiring this pianist and getting me to where I am today. Thank you to Doc McKinney and ‪@illangelo.‬ for producing an incredible album I hold dearly til this day.
