House of Cards is one of my all-time favourites.. It has a lot of dramatic suspenseful tension in the orchestration and the lyrics are very angsty.. It's basically about a relationship where both people know it's falling apart, barely holding together on a weak foundation.. Despite knowing the end is nearly upon them, they try to hold onto it desperately.. The way they sing it always gives me goosebumps.. You can feel that desperation and vulnerability so clearly.. It's a very cinematic song.

Yay! This is one of my favorite vocal line performances. Jungkook started it, then V, then Jimin and Jin. Jungkook did the scatting. I thought it was R&B but someone corrected me and said it is more Jazz. I don't really care, I just know I like it. You can see the passion they sing with here and the harmonies are insane. The Truth Untold is another good one Live with subtitles. There are no MV's for these 2. Maybe watch the video on Ida S channel called Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS and then realize it took on that role at the age of 15 when they debuted. V is more their baritone but can go high also. Jimin has a unique texture to his normally high voice (but he can growl some too), and Jin has a more bold high voice typically but I've heard him do low notes too (e.g. in Dionysus).

Hey Kaz, you were correct, the first singer is Jungkook - but this performance was seven years ago, so they were all really young and look different…the two dark haired singers are Jungkook and V/Taehyung and the two blonds are Jimin (you identified him correctly too) and Jin. The song starts with Jungkook, then V, then Jimin, then Jin. And yes, they are all excellent singers - they are used to singing while dancing hard, so when they are just standing, like here, their voices are remarkable - also, this video is after some hard performances in the concert and they are all pretty exhausted - I find it amazing that such young men (Jungkook was just 18, Jimin and Tae were 20 and Jin was just about to turn 23) can put that much emotion into the song, it’s seems they really feel the desperate longing and anguish…🤷‍♂️💜💜

House of Cards; This is one of my favorite songs, that BTS sings. Other favorites are Truth Untold, Butterfly, they also sing: Born Singer; BTS does a version of J Coles, Born Sinner but if you can do the 2015 Stage. Beware of Copywrite strikes by pausing. I know you'll have to stop and start but Born Singer in concert is so good that it's worth the trouble to see the performance. The first time I watch the performance, it brought of so many emotions in me. Even their facial expressions tore me apart.

The way I learned to distinguish the guys was by watching a few lyrics videos. Most of these show who is singing what in the moment. So it's easy to connect a sound with a name. Once you learn the voice sounds, which really don't change through the years, you haven't made in terms of identifying who is who.

I’d go with Jin, epiphany live, Jungkook, Euphoria live at Wembley, Jimin, Lie live and V, Singularity live. Also, some great songs that are all 7 but more vocal heavy - Film out, live and Your eyes tell, live. Quite simply, these guys are incredible live to the extent they’ve been accused of lip syncing because people couldn’t believe they could sound so amazing without lip syncing!

Yes, they are versatile and their harmonies are beautiful. The way several of them can go kind of low and high effortlessly too. If you check out their solo stuff you can understand who's singing easier. V is a baritone but sings a little higher usually to fit the songs and others vocals.

When I first started with BTS I was so confused about who was who and was stressed over it. But once I stopped trying to tell them apart by hair color (me when I finally realized that they changed hair colors all the time 😱), and just watched them and listened, it became a lot easier to tell them apart by their voices and vocal stylings (watching the color coded lyrics helps a lot). Some are easier than others - Jimin for example has a very unique voice and RM was easy to distinguish by his looks and rap style, and some took longer - I mixed up JK and Jin for a long time, but eventually you'll get there. Just listen to the beautiful music, read the deep lyrics, and have fun. BTS is amazing, all 7 bring something special to the table, and they have a huge discography of top tier songs, it''s kind of amazing, so take it easy and enjoy!

Have we not done the guide yet? I apologize if you already did it and I forgot, but for me that is the best way to learn their faces and voices. (Although the one I watched was back in 2018 so it was a totally different guide) still it won’t take too long till you can tell them apart regardless. Everybody figures it out eventually and someday you will be able to tell who it is even if you see them from the back. Some ARMYs can tell them apart by their elbows. 😳 But just so you know, Jungkook has a very distinctive nose, where the tip of his nose turns down just a bit. Jin has very distinct full lips. V has half moon eyes, a somewhat wider face than the others and certain unique facial expressions that only he makes. Jimin, has the high voice, but also an oval face, a small nose, and perfectly almond shaped eyes. Also a smile that always looks just slightly embarrassed. Hope that helps.
