As of writing this comment at 06:20 pm on 11/29/23 in my upstairs bedroom using my iPad Pro I successfully beat my first ever run of Hades after having not played the game since 07/12/22 according to Steam while live-streaming it on my Twitch channel and the VOD should be up on my KZbin channel very soon after writing this comment. You have to complete multiple runs to unlock the full story but just one is good enough for me, lol. I’m going through a pretty rough patch in my life as of writing this comment but just by beating this game today, it gives me a little hope that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I've stuck with you guys since Transistor. I still love that game- and you guys really blew it out of the park with Hades. It's rare to see a company make games out of love, since they're always focused about the money. Obviously you need money, but you all seem to be worried about how good the games are. And that's perfect, because that seems to result in some amazing games. I'd have never thought you guys would make it this far. I thought you'd be hidden in the shadows, never really getting any *huge* recognition. But now, you were up there with AAA titles! Nominated so hard that you got up there with them! I was ecstatic for the people who worked so hard on this stuff. Even if you didn't win every award- don't worry. You won our hearts. And you won mine ages ago. Thank you so much for making games that aren't as dull and overdone as the rest- unique games that really mean a lot to me. It's weird to say I'm proud of people I've never met, especially when as a whole they're in the middle of performing a lot better than me, but I am so super proud of the individuals who worked their butts off to make this stuff.
