I don't know if you remember but she was also on the spinoff port charles don't know if you have ever watched that show I only read about it so I don't know who she played but I remember reading about it in an old soap opera digest issue she is a good actress seen her in a number of films including one that she did a scary movie called afraid of the dark not to be confused with don't be afraid of the dark she Aldo did a thriller where she played a fatal attraction type charecter like actress Glen close but I forgot the name of the movie but yeah she is a pretty good actress never saw her work on port charles but glad to see her work on general hospital as well as those other movies

This has the potential to be a great storyline. I can't believe Carly was 16 when she had an affair with that woman's husband. Where was Carly's adoptive mother? What was that man thinking having an affair with his daughter's best friend. Carly grew up in terrible circumstances and this explains how horrible she was when she first came to Port Charles to get even with Bobbie for giving her up. I wish Bobbie had raised Carly. Bobbie would not have let Carly get so out of control as a teenager. Carly is going to find a part of herself in Jacksonville and I think Drew might have to rescue her from whatever trouble she might encounter in Jacksonville.

I think it's refreshing. It's been several years since it was touched on & its not the same stuff. There was a whole damn ark on Sam's past, not that it bothered me, but I think it'll be a fun storyline for the actress to touch on.

Ruby and Bobbie being hookers had Nothing to do with Carly. Bobbie put CARLY up for adoption at Birth. She probably never even Met Ruby. Ruby, Luke, and Bobbie did what they had to do to support themselves. When they knew better, they Did better. I liked all three.

@@joiisler8986 I was strictly speaking only of Carly and how the choices she made, such as coming to town with the sole intent of breaking up her mother's marriage to Tony (among other horrible things) have now reared their ugly head once again. Carly thinks that all those things she did would never touch her again because "she's changed". She only changed up to a point. But her bitchy "I'm better than you" attitude stuck. And I like it that someone brought her back down from that lofty perch she like to sit on all the time. Joss has learned how to be that same way from her...the apple didn't fall far from that tree.

This conversation was about a 16 year old kid that was abused by a man she knew and trusted and then was told by everyone around her that it was her fault. She lost her innocence, her best friend and what was really left of her relationship with her mother when that happened. Carly for all her faults rarely has an I’m better than you approach especially when people are less fortunate than her. You can save some time by just saying you hate Carly.

I would hate that storyline. It goes against everything we’ve known about Carly since she came to port Charles. She was furious that Bobbie gave her up and then went on to love and parent other children as if she didn’t exist. She wouldn’t do that to her own kid.
