This guide is misleading. After setting the tone arm parallel to the plate, you should first turn the black dial to 0 (not the whole weight, just the black dial) so that it is properly calibrated. Otherwise, there is no point in balancing the tone arm...

The balancing process is not clear enough. The words are not matching to the actions. The manual is also absolutely rubbish.

Most tables are simple. 1 set anti skate to zero 2 adjust weight so stylus sits just off record ( only just ) 3 set weight dial to zero on indicator line 4 then hold weight and turn to advance numbers on scale until required force lines up with indicator line. 5 Adjust anti skate numbers to same as you set stylus force.

Sent mine back - constantly jumps and if you set the anti-skid to the recommended settings it won't play a complete side - starts sticking about half way.

Hello David, excuse me, I have a problem with this turntable and I want to check if what is happening to me is the same as what you are describing in your comment. When I play the vinyl record (with the configuration recommended in the video, weight at 2.5 and antishake at 2.5 tb) the arm does not advance more than the third track (on both sides). Also, if I try to place the arm directly on the fourth track, for example, I can't, it's like blocked from the third track. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

Yes, that was the one of the initial problems I had with it too - the recommended anti-skid settings are way too high - keep turning it down until the arm can go all the way across. Not a very scientific solution but, as I said, I sent mine back as it constantly jumped and skipped on almost every record I played. @@josemiguelsanchezmartinez

Just purchased this, first, the needle is not Audiotechnica, but some noname, and there is no way to setup this sh.t - its always jumping. I set tonearm parallel, tuned black! part of counterweight to 0(not described in video), than tune it counterclockwise to 2.5, 3.5 and so on, but it still jumping. Antiskid is 0-1.

There’s a delay between the sound that comes out of the speakers compared to the sound that comes out of the turntable. The speakers play the music like a second later than the music that comes out of the turntable. How do I fix this?

You need to connect either to audio amplifier connected to passive speakers,powered speakers or Bluetooth speakers. What you heard was not coming from the speakers

Thanks for this. Altho this video is pretty bad, it at least provides some modicum of setup info. The instructions included with the turntable were horrible. There was no component list included with the machine, which I think should be basic for any product. And the instructions were really pathetic, they didn't do a sufficient job of detailing the setup whatsoever. Bummer that a customer has to go to KZbin to find information on this product that's somewhat useful Feels like something the company really needs to improve upon
