He said at the end "This is this dedicated to Joe "The Biter" Nicolo". Nicolo was with Ruffhouse Records, who Everlast had sent a demo to including Jump Around. Ruffhouse then signed Kriss Kross who had a hit with Jump soon after this.

Everlast was originally a member of Ice T's Rhyme Syndicate crew in LA ..... he then formed his own crew House of Pain with Danny Boy and DJ Lethal (and often collaborated with their partner DJ Muggz of Cypress Hill) .... all are Irish-American ..... House of Pain and Cypress Hill came into the game hard around 1990, and brought a whole new vibe and energy to the street and party scene

Joe "The Biter" Nicolo references an agent at a record company that pulled out of a deal with House of Pain at the last second and then Kris Kross releases "Jump" with the same hook. Bozak references balls or ballsack meaning he's threatening to kick his ass for betraying them on that record deal and stealing their hook.

That`s Everlast aka Whitey Ford and yes he is irish american. I loved this song when it came out in 91 or 92..It wasnt too many white rappers/rap groups back then in the early 90`s..you had Beastie boys,3rd bass,YBT,Lords of brooklyn and of course House of pain.

Joe Nicolo used to be a producer I believe and long story short he heard jump around before it dropped and ran back to Kriss Kross and had them make a song called Jump before they dropped jump around. Yeah, House of Pain are all Irish lads and ultra proud. And in the end he's dedicating the song to a guy named Joe Nicolo, calling him a "biter" because he was trying to get signed to Ruffhouse records and Joe passed them up (the demo was 'jump around'), but signed Kriss Kross only weeks later with the song "jump". He was just letting Nicolo know he made it without his label and the "biter" part was due to Joe passing "jump around", but distributing "jump" (which honestly has many similar characteristics).

House of pain had already broken up by the time Everlast and Em had beef. Everlast was already a veteran emcee at that point and Em was the big new thing at the time. They are not from the same era and that beef did not put an already broken up band "on the shelf" on top of the fact that the beef although fun and entertaining as it was, was not even close to career ending for anyone involved.

I wasn't one of those people and I wasn't saying it was everybody. Em's beef with Lethal was when he was with Limp Bizkit not HoP and after he was beefin with Everlast.
