Maybe small sections of freedom of movement like elevator levels?

The later HotD are designed for 2 players, along with change from Shotguns/Pistols to SMGs. There are also way more zombies on screen now along with scripted Knock down or save events which add to more Life loss. But all this is awesome for 2 players playing on the cabinet. Makes HotD a really fun buddy arcade game.

A little piece of advice. Reload your gun as soon as you stop firing. That way, you instantly have a full mag for the next time you have to face a group of zombies.

There is an emulator called Tenkoparrot. However, Scarlet Dawn is one of the games that's locked behind the paid version of this emulator. It's stupid because I want to play this and HotD 4 Special.

Loads of other light gun games like Virtua Cop and Confidential Mission on their books as well. Sega also helped out with the Luigi's Mansion arcade game. That would be nice to see on Switch as well ( although they have yet to bring the Mario Kart arcade games home )

Played this game over the weekend with my son at Dave and Buster’s and loved it!!! Originally it was an arcade Japan exclusive in 2018. So glad they brought it to the U.S. Now let’s port this game to the PS5 with some extra levels!!!

Heavily disagree I found Scarlet Dawn to be very disappointing. It's a rehash of 4's story without anything that made it so memorable. The only thing that does got improved is the sound design. The rest are pretty disappointing compared to older ones.

The only thing that sucks about this game is that if you're grabbed by the zombies in 2 player mode, you have to wait for your teammate to kill every single zombie on screen before you're freed. That's fine, but the zombies can easily take away your ENTIRE health bar from full health if your teammate isn't fast enough in killing them. Kinda stinks to be punished if your teammate isn't quick and accurate.

For the life of me I'm truly surprised why Nintendo, MS or Sony haven't gotten in touch with the Sinden guys and collaborated to release some kind of last/next gen light gun for consoles to work the modern display tech. Would love to play a console port of this alongside many others stuck in the Arcade (Time Crisis 5, Ocean Hunter etc.)

As I heard from sega HOTD team, they are lacking of budget to get a script and story writer, Akito Konoki is the planner and he have a 9 years old son who wrote the story and script, he saved the HoTD team!

I'm waiting for a home release of this since I own as many of the games as I can. Even have a Sega Saturn and found a loose copy of the 1st one as they never re-released the 1st HotD. Granted they're completely remastering it since they lost all the original stuff years ago.

@@gopats85 no, sadly it was a loose copy (No case and no cover) of the OG HotD. The most I've spent on a loose game ($80) but for the sake of collecting and nostalgia I deemed it worth while. Put down my foot though and refuse to spend almost 1k on a copy of Magic Knight Rayearth. A friend of mine gifted her Saturn to me although I originally had planned to give her money for it but a military move during COVID shot a lot of my plans out of the water.

@@angelinamulholland5700 Yea i think I’ve seen a copy of Panzer Dragoon 3 selling for up to a thousand on eBay. Wish I still had some of these old systems and games I could make some damn good money off the shit.

I had fun with the arcade in Dave N Busters, only thing I didn’t like was that you’d get to select any secondary weapons as you played, it kinda takes away the challenge of how brutal the House of the Dead franchise gave
