I think when Daemon places the crown on Rhaenera, Rhaenys doesn't bend the knee, I believe she stands tall and proud to see a woman crowned, where it was taken from her years prior. Daemon is also loyal cuz when Rhaenyra said Laenor has to be dead so the can marry I knew from the moment between them Daemon came up with the plan to set him free he gave them money from his pockets. Its weird that people thought that Daemon was going to murder his brother in law aka Laenas brother people forget they are friends treated each other like family during their three year long war. They shed blood, sweat, tears and watched the men they led die. Viserys did absolutely nothing to protect his people after he was told that his subjects were being murdered by a rebellion of his own people Daemons loyalty should never be questioned unlike everybody else.

Watching my son be born is one of the most disturbing things I ever saw. I wanted to leave when my anxiety reached a peak, but I was boxed in by other people, the wall, and the TV "entertainment center" She was pushing so hard that the placenta slipped out between her and my sons head. Yeah Daemon's got some trauma from his mom and as we've seen, his wife Laena dying from child birth, and that boy is not emotionally equipt for that. He's a block it out or lash out sort of guy. Keeping himself useful though.

Note how Daemon and Rhaenys have perfect CONTROL of their dragons. They don't even have to speak commands and their dragons still know and do exactly what they want. Rhaenyra also seems to be good, but mostly untested so hard to tell. Prince Aemond and Lucerys don't come even close. Could be many reasons. More willful dragons? The riders being too young and undisciplined? Haven't been bonded long enough? Or... it could be neither of them is inbred enough. Their dragon DNA is too diluted.

It shows the strength of their bond and relationship. Both Daemon and Rhaenys have been constant companions with their dragons for decades. Rhaenyra has a good bond with her dragon but Syrax spent a lot of time in the Dragon pit, not in battles and not sharing life experiences. Both Daemon and Rhaenys are warriors. I think both Aemond and Lucerys are just that bit separated from their Valerian heritage. They're also both untested in battle and too inexperienced in dragon riding to realise that their emotions inform the dragons of the next move rather than just the command.

The idea behind swearing and oath on a Bible or a book or.... whatever. That is obviously just symbolic But it's symbolic for a very big step that you just took. Basically you have just taken yourself from maybe getting some angry looks and called a name for lying or going back on your word, To being liable for a punishment when you break your word. Today it's called perjury and you get put in jail. In this story I would imagine the punishment is death. But in this specific instance you're exactly right and swearing on that book means absolutely nothing because she would not punish her kids if they went back on their word and decided to fight somebody. Especially the younger one because he doesn't like fighting anyway so if he did it there would definitely be a good reason for him to do it........ Obviously that's not an option anymore. I really wish that they had been ready for a second season this past summer. I really wanna see what goes on with the older boy and the Starks at Winterfell.

If the blacks had mounted their dragons and stormed King's Landing it wouldn't have went the way they think it would've. While the blacks have more dragons, most of them are tiny compared to the greens. The greens have the 2 biggest dragons vhagar & dreamfyre(who is slightly older and bigger than vermithor) plus 2 more formidable dragons in sunfyre & tessarion. Some of the blacks dragons literally aren't big enough to even damage Vhagar or dreamfyre. The greens have a massive amount of men, ships, and gold. House hightower alone has more men then all of the houses supporting Rhaenyra combined. (So far)

To whoever reads these comments on his behalf, it would be good not to miss this subtle detail: There are 6 Aegon Targarians. The first was the one that had the dream of ice and fire, a prophecy that the white walkers would come one day and there should be a Targarian on the iron throne when it happens. The 6th is Jon Snow. The 5th was the older blind man that was a mentor figure to Jon Snow at the wall. The 2nd is the one in this series, the crazy kid of Viserys and Alicent who usurps the throne in episode 9. What is being missed here is this: When Viserys was dying, he was talking to Alicent, but in his delirium he thought he was talking to Rhaenyra. He was talking about the prophecy of ice and fire, the dream of Aegon 1. Alicent misunderstood, and honestly thought Viserys was saying he'd changed his mind and wanted Argon 2 to be king. He did not want Aegon 2 to become king. Please pass this along to him, as it would be a nice detail not to miss. Thank you. :)

"Why didn't you delete the people on the stage??" The real answer is... that scene, where Rhaenys confronts the Greens on dragonback didn't happen in the book. She escaped, but the show-runners needed a "big moment" to end episode 9. Sure, she SHOULD have just blown everyone up there, but then we wouldn't have had a series, so that couldn't have happened. I did like her explanation though -- the war was not hers to start.

IMO, I agree with him Rhaenyra definitely needed to be more aggressive in her response. She needed to display strength and not show any weakness. Some houses will join who they think will be the winning side. The Hightower's had been plotting to get on the IRON throne since Otto sent Alicent to the king to seduce him. I really think Alicent misunderstoon the King's dying rant about "Aegon's" (The old historical one and not his son) premonition of needing a Targaryon to lead in the future, Alicent is a pawn played by people who play the game better. Rhaenyra was placed into multiple situations in which she had no say in the matter and for which she was not well prepared for (Suddenly named heir in a society that refused to accept women rulers, an arranged marriage with a husband who didn't like women) She never thought she'd be in a position of power and really doesn't know what to do with it. Daemon on the other hand is rash, but can see manipulations in the games people play much better than some others. None of the characters are great leaders, none of them are totally good and none totally bad. If I had to choose one of them, it'd be Raenys: Corlis's wife (and the Queen who never was) as the best ruler.

Visery’s named Rhaenyra his heir before Aegon was even a thought. the lords bent the knee and named her heir. the white stag showed itself to ONLY Rhae. One of Aegon’s names is literally the usurper. if a daughter could never become queen visery’s would’ve never been able to make her the heir in the first place. in Aegon’s 20 years of living Visery’s not once named him heir or thought of doing so. you call Rhae “incompetent, chaotic, and unfit” do you even know Aegon? he’s all of those things and more.
