A part of the reason why this war has even begun really is because of bad parenting on Alicent’s part. Aegon’s accident is kinda her fault for how she treats him. The way she talks to him makes me think she hates him so much just for existing. Part of the reason why he’s a bad king and a joke is partly her and Otto’s fault since they didn’t even bother to teach him how to rule growing up. Apart of it is Aegon’s fault since he is a drunken rapist, but that’s also kinda on his parents for being terrible to him. It doesn’t excuse his actions for being an a*hole, all it does is simply explain them. And the saddest part is, is that out of all of Alicent’s children, Aegon seems to love her the most and is a huge momma’s boy since he only wants to get her love and affection for once. It’s one of the reasons why he fought in the first place from that conversation he had with her. If he was raised correctly by his parents, then maybe he would’ve turned out better. It’s honestly a miracle that Helaena didn’t turn out so messed up like her brothers.

Rhaenys, being the boss that she is, told Corlys to legitimize him and make him part of the family. I interpreted the end that Rhaenys assumed Aemond had fled the battle field, and was headed back to Dragonstone. She was cruising around and saw no sign of Vaghar, so she headed to the sea. You saw the castle on a cliff side and the sea right next to it. They said several times that Dragonstone was right across the water from Rooks Rest. So Aemond must have known that she’d take that route to head back to Dragonstone.

I'm only giving this a 4 dragon rating because they haven't released Daemond from Harrenhall yet. Princess Rhaenys did her thing and went down like a warrior and the Red Queen put some hurt on both Sunfire and Vhagar. Someone should send Cole a blue-ray edition of Game of Thrones season one episode one so that he can learn how to take a head from Ned Stark , it's all in the wrist. And finally I really love ya'll reaction's.

Crispy Cole is SUCH a salty SIMP, him and Aemond purposefully attacked all the houses in closest approximation to Dragonstone in the hopes of drawing out Rhaenyra on a dragon and used the men whose lands they had just taken over as shields on the frontline. What they hadn't bargained for was drunken Aegon and Rhaenys' ride or die "all in" counter attack that damaged not one but 2 dragons before she succumbed. RIP real one

Saddest part of Rhaenys dying is that she died thinking her husband cheated on her(At least that’s what I got from that coversation)and that both of her children are dead when only one of them is. I love Rhaenyra and fully on team black but the fact that she never told her Laenor is actually alive is just terrible. RIP Rhaenys Targaryen, the Queen that should’ve been all those years ago. Corlys was right. She should’ve been Queen.

She knew Corlys cheated on her, but being the real one she is, she told him he should bring him home, because to her knowledge he is the last direct heir of his, because she doesn't know her son is still alive. If she found that out, it would delegitimize Rhaenyra's son's right to heir.

I never understood the Daemon and Aemond comparisons, I don't believe Aemond is anything like Daemon. Aemond is Otto and Alicent combined.

True, but they're alike in the sense that none of their family members trust them (rightfully so). They both make their own decisions, however ruthless and immature that makes matters worse (i.e. Aemond killing Rhaenyra's son. led to Daemon sending men who through their own stupidty, killed Aegon's son, leading to the next step in this eventual fallout). They are both insecure and power hungry and crave the acknowledgment and respect they believe they should have from their family members given their skillset and ambition.

I just feel like Aemond goes further than Daemon being that Aemond was going to kill Aegon the first chance he got but Daemon never tried to kill Viserys even though he could've since he knew all the secret passageways in the castle, nor tried to embarrass him in front of his council but then again Aemond and Aegon didn't really have a relationship were as Viserys and Daemon would argue but they always would forgive each other.

Aegon been bullying Aemond since they were kids which led to all the fallout with Rae Rae's kids to begin with. So Aemond def don't care for Aegon the same way Daemond did for his bro.
