Kings who sit on the iron throne and are cut by the swords are unworthy kings .... That's it. Viserys just isn't a very good King and so the throne cutting him is a reflection of that. The cuts are not a metaphor for Daemon and Rheaneras actions. The rest of what you said I can kind of agree with actually... But not your theory about the throne cutting him being a reflection of those around him... I mean it's not a BAD theory... but it's just not true. The "real reason" it's happening is explained in the books.
