Yeah, I was confused by that answer as well. I think Syrax did lay unhatched eggs (I think Viserys II had one), but I'm guessing all the surviving eggs held by the Targaryens were destroyed during Summerhall. It makes the most sense for Dreamfyre to be the mother, since three eggs were stolen by Farman and were unaccounted for.

The unclaimed dragons on Dragonstone when the dance starts are: Silverwing, Vermithor, Seasmoke, the Cannibal, Sheapstealer, and Grey Ghost. The last three are all wild dragons though, so if they phrased the question as "what dragons on Dragonstone formerly had riders but don't anymore" then their answer would be more accurate. Also it's unclear in the show where Seasmoke is so it's possible he's not there? Since Laenor isn't dead...
