I'm so glad y'all are back for this spin off! Hands down one of the realest youtubers and I enjoy watching y'all ❤ I did however have to watch the episode back when y'all said Rhaenrya didnt know the answer, cause I could've sworn she did. So turns out she kinda played dumb saying she doesn't know the answer, but when her friend got mad and began to walk away she gave her the answer. I'm getting the vibes that Rhaenrya isn't dumb, just young and naive and didnt want to be queen. Instead she rather have adventures and eat cake lol. She no doubt will grow and mature and begin to realize the importance her role is in the kingdom, and must protect it from those who want power of their own and are willing to step on anyone to get it. I'm so excited to see her character development, LETS GO!! And no, I'm not a book reader 😏

in the birth situation it was either mother and baby die or just the mother...there was no way to save the mother in this situation...if baby doesn't come out it will die inside the mother and then the mother would die after...the king had to make a choice I just wish he woulda let her know what was wrong and let her know what had to be done then surprise her that way.

The characters I like the most is Viserys, Rhaenrya and Daemon. And in that order. I see what yall coming from with the logic of the King's decision, but I feel it was the right one. Yes, it was selfish but it is what's best for the house and the relm. If the baby would've survived, the infighting for claim would've ceased right there.

Interesting debate about Rhaenyra and Alicent power outlining… I think you all are right in some way… Rhaenyra is all upfront and sassy and free to do as she please for the most part because she is an only child but she is not supposed to become Queen and is less pressured when it comes to appearance. But she is her father sweetheart. He try to enforce some knowledge when he ask her not to be late at the small council because he wants her to be a witness and learn how works politics, she also speaks High Valeryon which means she’s well educated. She is a kind of Arya. Alicent is all “soft power”. She is supposed to be about 9 years older than Rhaenyra. She’s from a much lesser family but which gain their place and right by merit and loyalty to Viserys. She’s a reasonable, much discreet good friend who can probably enforce some wisdom in Rhaenyra and speak with her about more “female” matters girls usually speak about when they are together. She is motherless and seems to be more her father’s puppet than his beloved daughter. I think she’s somewhat envious of Rhaenyra’s family bond in this episode until the Queen’s death. She looks more like Sansa (at least less naive) with the same problem as a girl form “high birth” : she can only expect a better way in life thanks to a political marriage with someone who will respect her enough to allow her more freedom… We already know she will surpass all expectations in that matter…

Dunno why you guys were mad at Viserys. He and his wife were done have kids after many unsuccessful pregnancies (she said she was done after this) and would continue to be so since she's getting older. Plus during this birth the maester said she'd lose the baby and the mom or just the mom. It was clearly the only choice.

Maester said the one or both. He never mentioned the mother. The Maester mentioned saving the baby because the Maester was acting in his own self interests because he wanted an heir for the king too. If the Maester was loyal to the queen, he would have said "we can save your wife" instead of saying "we can save the child" IMO

@@JodysCornerThe maester said it was either cut the baby out or "let the gods decide" whatever that means. He obviously had some personal interest, but I can't see how they would've saved her. Can't just leave a dead baby inside her, right? Just rip it out through the birth canal? She already bled all over the sheets trying to push it out. Seems like they'd have to cut her open one way or the other and we know the medicine there is trash so that's unsurvivable.

The book is written from the POV of the maesters as a history book. So we have no real dialogue, just a record of events and a bunch of he said she said. I give it a 98% accuracy. A lot of theories came true that have been in the fandom for years

IF Daemon said heir for a day, it definitely wasn't in the context that Otto Hightower wants Viserys to believe. I dont think Aemma would've chose herself over the baby, her fear and horror and resistance was in the shock of not knowing what was about to happen and not being able to choose herself... I do think she would've died anyway because the choice was the child or neither... and he chose the child and still lost both.

Corlys is married to Rhaenys . She is the cousin of the King, they are both the grandkids of the previous king Jahaerys . She had the better claim to the throne during the great counsel because her father was older than viserys' father (both fathers died) and the counsel chose viserys because hes a man... the queen that died Aemma is also their cousin ...

I agree for the most part. It's the only thing that I felt was a bit odd. I believe they knew, but it wasn't as pressing of a matter to them as Viserys made it seem. Other than that particular scene, I felt the episode was phenomenal. Can't wait to see more
