Erock, being here has felt like growing up with a friend. Been here since I was 18 years old, and I’m 32 now. I remember the first time I saw one of your videos, I was absolutely blown away. At that time in my life, I had never seen anyone play guitar so well, and also take so many creative turns with it along the way. I remember watching your Daft Punk video for the first time and I screamed in joy when you started singing along. It’s so cool and amazing to see you revisit songs because it hits me with a wave of nostalgia, every time! You and another guitarist are tied in my head for favorite guitar player. I’ve showed so many people your videos just because I wanted to share the joy. I remember back when you used to offer mp3 downloads of your tracks! I definitely have them on my computer. Me and my cousins would put on your covers for hours and just jam out like we were in a mosh pit😅 Thank you so much for sharing your music over the years. Thank you so much for doing metal covers of all the video game music and of everything. Thank you for sharing your energy and music with the world. I respect and admire the hell out of you, Eric. It’s a dream of mine to see you live one day. Thanks for everything Eric, it’s been amazing “growing up” as an adult with your music by my side. What. A. Comment. Thank you so so much. It’s been a long long time. This was never a planned career 😂 but one of the many things that always inspired me was the outrageously positive comment section. I have the most fun when I’m playing music but as I got comments and posts telling me that the fun is shared and it spreads….i don’t think there’s anything better than that. KZbin has changed so much since I’ve been on here, but I never wanted to. Could be a curse but could be a blessing. I’m just glad (as you said) that I could grow up alongside friends that have been watching who have also been growing up. There’s definitely some sort of 1/2 digital 1/2 emotional bond with people who have been watching for so long. Live things look likely in the future, see you there and thanks for everything 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

I can respect when a new arrangement of a classic theme is used. Especially if that becomes, like, a tradition in the setting. (I can't imagine, 50 years from now, this will be the only two TV series and/or films in the setting.) Though I also appreciate when a new composition that just happens to hit all the same beats, is made. Which Star Trek TAS and SNW did, compared to the TOS theme. (Though Star Trek also did the first thing, reusing the theme from their first movie for TNG in a new, more upbeat arrangement.)
