House of the Dragon reacts to ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’! [Part 2/2] [Daenerys and Jon Snow]

No, cause when you think about it, Daenerys has to be the prince that was promised. The prophecy states that the prince would be born among salt and smoke, aka Dragonstone. And, when you think about it, her ‘rebirth’ was on Khal Drogo’s funeral pyre, which was among smoke. Not to mention that the prophecy also says the prince will be born beneath a ‘bleeding star’, aka a comet. And when Daenerys births her dragons, a comet is seen overhead. Lastly, the prophecy also mentions that the prince who was promised would “wake dragons from stone”. Daenerys’s dragons, when given to her, are said to have turned to stone, and she was the one who hatched them, therefore “waking dragons from stone”. Overall, I think that Daenerys fits the role of prince that was promised much better. Not to say that Jon Snow isn’t also a part of the prophecy, but he fits the ‘ice’ part of the prophecy more than the ‘fire’, not just because of his name, but also because he is a Stark, not just a Targaryen. Also, Daenerys has dragon dreams, or a what appears to be them. If anyone wants to debate this with me, or add on, drop a reply! Edit: Also, love the video! It's also a possibility that the "prince that was promised" and Azor Ahai are different. So one could be the prince, and the other the hero. Because the long night doesn't just affect Westeros,.it affects the whole world. Including Essos. Where the legend of Azor Ahai originates.

@@xytech7432 Ohhh, that’s true. After all, the one who dealt the final blow and killed the Night King was Arya Stark. And ironically enough, the weapon used to kill him was the same dagger that Aegon carved the “prince who was promised” prophecy into.

​@@xytech7432 Also the bleeding star bit, isn't the house dayne sigil is a falling star with a sword?, and Ser Arthur Dayne died at the tower of joy when jon was born, not saying your wrong but prophecies are a pain in the behind to decipher

She can’t be grrm basically made it impossible. He has said Daenerys and the white walkers are the great threats to Westeros meaning the prince that was promised is the one to beat them or come out on top making it the song of ice and fire. Also everything you said that makes it her can make it Jon. Also there is a huge chance that it can’t be princess as well as she is translating a language no one knows better than the Targaryen’s.

@@godoflightning5030 it’s stated multiple times that the translation could be prince or princess that was promised, because in the language that the prophecy was written in, on the dagger, uses the same word for prince and princess. Also, did you miss the part where I said that the prince who was promised was prophesied to bring dragons from stone? Daenerys’s dragons were stone eggs when she found them, and she was able to make them hatch, therefore bringing dragons from stone. When did Jon Snow do anything remotely close to that? Btw, these are genuine questions. I’m asking these because I’m trying to debate the issue, and learn more about this, even though the words sound aggressive through text. So no animosity on my side! :D
