Its funny how Rhaenyra complains about people not viewing her as "the shield and the sword" when she's never trained with the sword in her life and people not viewing her as "protector of the realm" when she alone cant gain any major houses to her side and its Jace who's able to gain three of the Realm's kingdoms to the cause.

I think I have commented this under every single HotD Ep6 vid I could find so far: WHY do we not get to see the interesting stuff ind this f*n show???? Who cares if the Blacks have been spotting Seasmoke? Who cares if they don't know who rides him? WE the audience know it already, there is NO suspense whatsoever. They have been hitting us over the head with Addam being also Corlys bastard for the whole episode and they have been searching for dragonriders the whole episode. OF COURSE Seasmoke didn't eat him, so WHY try to make it omnious or mysterious? SHOW US THE BONDING! Show us the first ride. SHOW don't TELL - it is not that hard, jeeez. Wouldn't it have been great to compare the bonding moments and maybe see where the knight (don't even remember his name) went wrong? Wouldn't it have been great if we only ever knew until now that Alyn was Corlys son, but no mention of Addam being on as well, so there might be at least a tiny thought that seasmoke was out for a meal hunt and later reveal that he was searching for a rider? So many things that could be easily fixed to make the show more compelling - but no, they go for the awkward kiss instead.

I just happened upon the recaps after watching another of your videos and immediately binged all of them. They are honestly hilarious and alleviate some of the stress I feel whenever another episode of HotD leaves me frustrated and questioning how my friend can find it better than GoT. No, HotD is NOT better than GoT. At least Game of Thrones was epic for the first 4 seasons, before it started declining and threw itself off a cliff in season 8. HotD leaves me in a constant state of: Wait... what????

I prefer the bond not to be magical, so distance and time sounds good to me. It’s more natural and less fantastical, which I find the more interesting of the two. And otherwise, that would mean Laenor died pointlessly off screen 🥴

I found it a bit odd that the smallfolk were saying 'Rhaenyra still thinks of us' when she's the reason they're all starving in the first place. Surely they can't be that forgetful. I also felt the gratuitous lesbianism was just unnecessary. Maybe soon we'll get an episode where the characters actually outsmart each other rather than outstupid each other. Great video as always, Back to the Kitchen and the Archer reference had me cracking up.

Rhaenyra fails as a leader. -She's been putting off raising an army for no other reason than to escalate the conflict? If that's even her logic. Which is catastrophic strategically, but even if she wants to avoid war it'd be smart to raise one "just in case". -She failed her followers, the lords & men who've put their lives, families, lands and legacies at stake for her are just ignored and left at the mercy of Criston, while she does nothing to protect them. -Leaves for days or weeks on end to go on extremely dangerous semi-suicidal peace mission to KL without even informing her generals. -She never counters her critics with a good strategic argument like "Because logically this, that..." its just some snarky personal jab along the lines of "Stfu". -Her main concern in the council is that she's criticized and "disrespected" rather than addressing their points. Those men wouldn't be criticizing her for her bad decisions if they didn't have her best interest in mind, they want her to win that's why they're angry at her. But instead she's more concerned with being talked to nicely instead of winning the war, implicitly meaning she wants sycophants and yes-men instead of competent lieutenants who can get her results. The showrunners essentially made her an extremely incompetent toxic manager who’s only concerned with optics and boot-licking who eventually sinks the company.
