One thing I’ve noticed about the house of the dragon is the parallel between Queen Rahneara and Queen Allicent that reminds me so much of the how they depicted Sansa and cerise making similar choices but receiving different outcomes, like they are a mirror of each other, yet they cannot look at each other and see their similarities even though they are at the core the same.

When Mysaria says they’ll never accept her , it’s not about gender. The only gender bias in this world is male primogeniture in Noble Houses or Royal houses and even then of there isn’t a male in the line of succession they will pass it on t a woman. The true inequality in this world of Westeros is being highborn or a small folk (common born). Another good example in the books is the elevation of Ser Criston Cole. They don’t mention it as much in the show, but a couple of times that he’s common born. Ser Harwin Strong mentions it as a negative and so does the old Lord commander of the Kings guard that took his white cloak off. They look down on him. Even when he becomes the Lord commander of the knights guard his direct reports don’t like him because he’s low born. All member of the knights guard are always second sons of noble families; they aren’t common born.
