Jace was worried that one of those dragonriders could rebel and take his throne, which is valid since they got bigger dragons and the people would favor the ones with silver hair. Also, jace wanted highborn ones since their valyrian blood is so small cause theyre mixed with other families, they still can get a dragon, but their claim for the throne is weaker.

You probably already heard this by now but Hugh’s mom is implied to be a full blood Targaryen- Saera, daughter of Jahaerys himself. She was cast out for kinda being like Rhaenyra times 100 when young. He sent her to a nunnery but she went to a whorehouse and eventually became a wealthy madam runnin thangs

Oh baby, Saera was WAY worse than Rhaenyra could ever be 😂. She was manipulative, mean, and probably the most entitled Targaryen princess. She drove Old King Jahaerys and Good Queen Alyssane crazy with her antics. She tried to get the Kings fool raped by a bunch of whores and had a train tan on her by three knights and got impregnated by one of them. And then after she was sent away she tried to steal Balerion, the largest damn dragon at the time. She had several bastard sons which contested Viscerys and Rhaenys for the throne. Saera was INSANE! I’d love to see HBO adapt the Reign of Jahaerys because it was absolutely bonkers

My THEORY surrounding Seasmoke is that when a dragon rider dies, the dragon goes on living normally because the dragon can feel that their rider is gone. They understand. Seasmoke was restless because Laenor Velaryon is NOT dead. Seasmoke can still feel the bond but, Laenor is rejecting him and pretending to be dead. The Targaryen dragon bond was still effing with Seasmoke so he went looking for Laenor's brother because of their shared DNA. Seasmoke went looking for relief. Something was missing in his heart or whatever and he needed someone to fill it. He found relief in someone who shares blood with Laenor.

Jace isn't a bastard because the crown is passing through his mother not his father. He's her truenorn son and also his "father" Leanor recognized him as his son. In the books Rheanys had dark hair because she's half baratheon and Aemma appearance is never described. The arryns are dark haired. The Velaryons always claimed the Jace Luke and Joffrey. So again they were not bastards. Queen Rhaenyra throne would've been usurped simply because she was a woman. All orchestrated by Otto

Also the Velaryons and Targaryens have intermarried so much it's practically incest. Aegon the Conquerors mother was Velaryon.they keep marrying with eachother because of the Valyrian blood. There's also another Valyrian branch/house in Westeros, the Celtigars. Just google the Velaryons family tree

Addam is his son. People keep forgetting that the Targaryens were NOT the only house who had dragon lords of Old Valyria. It is also irritating that they are talking about the Velaryon and Targaryen houses like they are different races. They were both Valyrian. The Targaryens were just the house that MASTERED the gift of dragon riding. It is the blood of Old Valyria and that ready confidence that the dragons can sense. Also let’s not forget even if it WAS about the Targaryen blood….the Velaryons and Targaryens(along with other Valyrian Houses) had me intermarrying for centuries before the Doom of Old Valyria. And after Aegon’s Conquest they continued to marry(along with some of the houses of the First Men i.e The Vale-Arryns, Oldtown-Hightowers, etc.)Aegon the Conquerer’s mother in fact was Velaryon. Just…Technically both of Corlys’ legit children are Velaryon Dragon Riders so….Laenor should have been of Salt and Sea….technically.

Enjoying the reactions🎉 keep up the good work Tenia & Taylor. No spoilers but just wanted to give some insight on Hugh the hammer & Ulf the white. From what Hugh is hinting at his mother is Saera Targaryen who is the the 5th daughter of The old king Jaehaerys I & good queen Alysanne(which makes Hugh Rhaenrya’s cousin or something) Basically she was a Targaryen princess who was banished from court for a few reasons & ran away to work in a pleasure house in Lys where she climbed the ladder & ended up owning her own pleasure house. Girl Boss💅 Ulf’s lineage is unknown even though he claims to be a bastard of Baelon the brave who is Rhaenyra’s grandfather, mind you majority of Jaehaerys & Alysanne’s sons were either in love with there wives or celibate so hints go to Ulf’s Targaryen roots coming from one of Jaehaerys daughter’s or some other random Targaryen descendant. Also I believe the slight proof of Hugh & Ulf’s relation to Jaehaerys I the conciliator & good queen Alysanne is how they are able to claim/be claimed by Vermithor & Silverwing which are both the former dragon mount’s of Jaehaerys & Alysanne.

Hey Tynia and Taylor of House T "Happy Monday" i hope you two day has been well. Rhaenyra confronts Addam after Seasmoke chooses him. As he pledged his loyalty to her side. Rhaenyra decided under the guidance of Mysaria to go to Kings Landing to retrieve many Targaryen b*stards to see if any of them have what it takes to ride a dragon. Alicent leave Kings Landing questioning her purpose. Man Daemon has been taking so many L's. But man he gets a taste of his own medicine in this episode by Oscar Tully a child. As he realizes, he's no longer in control. As William Blackwood faces the crime for what he did to the Blackwoods. As Daemon must kill him as Daemon has another hallucination of Viserys who spoke on how he never wanted the crown. I like how the cut on Alicent hand is a throwback to last season when she cut Rhaenyra in episode 7. The Maester tries to help Aegon in getting his strength back. As Larys Strong motivates him that he needs to work harder. Jace not happy that he may lose his place as ruler of the 7 Kingdoms because Rhaenyra chooses to accept the help of Targaryen b*stards. As he knows, Harwin Strong is his father. It's so awesome to see Hugh get Vermithor and Ulf get Silverwing. As the three dragon stand together when Aemond confront them. Jace was right on every account, and Rhaenyra weakened Targaryen's power in all Westeros (cue Blackfyre rebellion). Also, Team Black just lost the Dragonkeeper, which means they're fucked.

First of all- I love that you spoke about astrology charts (as an astrologer myself) This episode was one of the peak episodes of the season. I wish they were all like this, episode 4 and to a lesser degree episode 2.
