I’d love to see a breakdown of the Vermithor sequence! I’d wager that scene might very well be the most real a dragon has ever looked in film/television history. Soooo much detail not only in the textures and rendering but the subtle movements as well.

It also looks like whatever was in the top left was removed/replaced with CG then added back in to the final composite. Inquiring minds want to know!

We need a breakdown of the breakdown for this one! As someone interested in this industry I'd love to see a more in depth video about how the models were made and the steps that go into it. I've always wondered how high/low poly the models are to balance the photorealism look with render times as well as what the work flow of the professionals looks like and the methods used to create the models compared to an amateur like me.

I know you can’t answer but the show looks so good with just the first pass of the color correction with the complete effects, why did they made you put the blurry green/brown filter that mutes the colors

I agree, it looks more natural and in line with how GOT looked. The cgi looks better overall edits that reduce the blurriness and enhance color.

Yall, please stop adding the fuzzy gray filter over the shots. I love your work, but it really tarnishes it and makes it look less natural/takes away from the colors. The cgi looks gorgeous before that final layer.

Houdini is for FX , nuke is for compositing all the layers together and Autodesk Maya is industry standard for Animations

Ok, so this is no longer adding some buildings to real locations: they modelled the entire Kings Landing. @RodeoFX, save the caches for upcoming seasons, spinoffs, games, cinematics and movies, you might need them

Sadly I have to say the close up shots of the dragon riders when flying around were some of the worst looking scenes in recent memory I have seen. They just don't look and feel right, pulled me out of the episodes each time.
