It's probably one of the best versions I've heard of this song. Have listened to it multiple times now. Ever heard " Cover Me Up" by Jason Isbell ? He is the original singer of it but Morgan Wallen did an amazing version of it maybe even better than Isbells original, if I dare to say. Check both versions out some day... I think you'd do it a great justice. Don't know if you have yet.

Hi Paul like so many grew up with this one and one of my first efforts on guitar too. Although well aware of The Animals hit, it was a version by a British band 'Geordie' that my crew swore by in the 70's.. this was well before the lead singer Brian Johnson went on to become Bon Scott's replacement in AC/DC. Im sure you know this but I just wanted to qualify my comment which is to say that this is the best solo single guitar version I have ever heard! .. and I've heard a few!
