That has got to be wrong. Stating only the representatives can be protected from slured speach and not pointing out a represenative is using such speech. I disagree with miss Bushe's stating focal fule disproportionately effect people of color. That has no business or grounds to exist in this hearing. Also, the panel needs to be reminded they answer questions as posed to them with no imblishments in an attempt to not answer. I would also like to point out 100% of the SPR was paid for by American citizens. The SPR should only go to US citizens and military. There is even a hole in the deployment rules which can allow huge blocks of oil to be granted to a non refining company where that oil can end up being sold to China through a black market. If you bave not done your research, you need to. The SPR was not designed for that oil to end up in non US markets. It was designed to stay here at home. The global market price would still be effected, lowered, but Americans would hold on to their oil they paid for. This point of view has not been reviewed. Fighting over clean energy is mute. If there are those that want EV, have at it. The rest of us will use our fossil fuels. I also want to know when EVs are going to pay their fair share of road and other taxes levied at the pump. There must be some conversion levied on EV pumps, home owners whom charge at home, etc. Trying to dive into the deep end was let's face it, stupid. China benefited because they have their own oil reserve yet some of our SPR ended up in China's hands. That has created an outrage by consumers here in America. Rep. Bush is out of her mind. She is playing a race card. She thinks everything effects communities of color. I see now how she got elected now.

...so the landfills that all of the batteries end up in full of toxic chemicals are going to be good for the planet/ climate? And they become unusable faster in really hot humid or cold climates, so say Florida and Wisconsin and many more. Not to mention they struggle to hold a charge or heat or cool then, it'll be nice when the battery is out of charge before the windshield is defrosted, or dead before the end of a work shift because cold drains it...and there are many times the power is out for days because of blizzards, it'll be great being stranded and freezing then.

If oil and gas is a global market, it seems the only reason that renewables would not be a global market is their inability to be transferred. Why not just offer drilling licenses with conditions of a percentage for the internal market? Global unlimited free trade is not good in this case any more than it is for outsourcing to slave labor.
