Thank you Sir for your nice work here. I learned so much moving your comments to my 77 years old mind. Will investigate more of your tutorials as time comes. And by the way your language is so clear and well understandable for me even though my mother tongue being Retorumantsch, language number four in Switzerland.👍

Is there a way to make walls and doors etc an exact measurement? Thanks

This would have helped me enormously with preparing some of my classes. Unfortunately, opening the file in Inkscape shows a blank document. Any idea what went wrong?

I think what you need is to disable proportions. You have an icon in the main bar for that.

Newbie question. It looks like you have two pages in the video, is that possible or is the page with the symbols just an outline?

Could you please include dimensions.. and perhaps imperial/metric dual dimension as well Hope not too tall an order
@geoffphil4 жыл бұрын
Hi. You could try drawing lines with the Bezier tool (shortcut B click start and end points and Enter to finish segment) and text dimensions with the text tool (Shortcut T). Or first select the shspe you eant dimensions for snd select Extensions menu, Vidualise path and pkay sround eith options.

what about the sizes
@geoffphil3 жыл бұрын
Drawing size is given in top toolbar when part is selected with selection tool. The scale is: 10 mm on drawing represents 1 m in real life. This is mentioned in the drawing.
