Took away Christmas decorations the last two days,left out what looks wintery and lovely what I have done so far.Being elderly slows me down but I still like to get the creative juices going.Just started doing winter decor the last couple years and it takes the sting out of putting away Christmas decor.

It does make me sad to take everything down we enjoy it so much, we start about the middle of the month so we can enjoy it for a little while longer. It was a very good video watching you take down your beautiful stuff looking forward to see how you decorate for winter.

My favorite time of year is now. Decluttering, Donating, Pantry Stock up, Fridge stock up, clean fresh neutral decorated home. Does My Soul good. I don’t mess the clutter or decor at all and it makes me happy to see it all go. Refresh is my passion ❤

Wishing you and your beautiful family a blessed, happy and healthy 2025. It's new year's day and I was going to start taking down everything but our main tree but we had a rough start this morning. My daughter in law's father got into his car this morning to go meet friends around 8:00 a.m. and had a heart attack. It's now about 12:30 amd he's out of the OR and in recovery. They were able to put stents in to open several arteries. Watching you while waiting for another update. You're keeping my nerves calm while waiting. I've been praying all morning. Undecorating will have to wait now. Thanks for sharing, please say a prayer for John. God bless you and your beautiful family always. ❤

It always makes me a little sad to take everything down, but I did also start today with the kitchen. I miss all the sparkly lights because the daylight seems so short and makes the house dark. I think I might make a little garland for the fireplace with the red berries and put in a string of lights. Happy New Year!

Hi Dana! Happy New Year! I started yesterday taking down the Christmas decorations. I will finish tomorrow. Having a retired hubby and our dog to take care of slows me down. At least it goes faster, than setting it out for the season!😊

You and I feel the exact same way about decor. I, too, love to buy unique items from independent stores. I have some unique stems that are not the ones you see all the time. I do like some of Targets decor items, tho, and have them also. I got all my Christmas decor down and organized and put away before New Years. Took me 3 days. But all the winter decor is out, and I love it, even more then Christmas. I just wish the stores would carry more winter, as we who live in the colder climates, need that cozy feeling. I love your channel so much, Dana, and have been a fan for a few years. You are the best. Hope you have a good year, and may God bless your sister. Can’t wait to see your winter decorating.❤❄️

Hi Dana!! Yes so sad to take it down. I actually haven't taken anything down and probably won't start for a week. I have off but a lot to do work wise while I'm off....taxes, etc. and I know I'm going to be swamped once I am fully back in session so unfortunately, I have to think ahead and get some paperwork done. I didn't even get my tree up until a week before Christmas so I am going to enjoy it awhile longer. I'll just have to do what I can when I can. I was already overloaded and once I lost an employee a few months ago, I just kept getting further and further behind. Ah well. I really want to do some decorating for Valentine's Day but I guess I have to take Christmas down first 😂 Take care friend, and have a nice "getaway" vacation. I'd love to leave right now! "Happy New Year" Dana. It is so hard to say goodbye to the holidays. Some of my stuff has been up since the 1 of November also. I may this weekend take it all down. I'll leave my hot cocoa bar up as we will use it over the next few months as it will be cold. Living in this sea saw weather of NY State. Snow one day rain the next 50*+ degrees. It's crazy. I will leave some stuff up that can be winter. You made good progress in this video getting it all packed away. Looking forward to your winter decor video.

Happy New Year Dana. I really enjoyed your video and it gave me some ideas on how to repack my Christmas items. I will be going on Amazon to get a storage containers for my Christmas ornaments, mostly the round balls. I leave my stuff up until January 6th Three Kings Day. Have a wonderful enjoyable vacation and see you when you get back. I also bought a new corded vacuum cleaner from QVC, the cordless one is good on floors, but not on carpet. I need to put it together tomorrow and that will inspire me next week. Looking forward to your next video.❤️
