I just recently went on disability and 52 years old and the osteoarthritis that is in my knees has stopped me from being able to do my job of running a daycare for the last 20 years. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in my late 20's, and in some ways, the diagnosis came as somewhat of a relief just because we finally knew why I was having all the strange symptoms I had, and there was a name for it. I do wish someone would have shared with me earlier how much altering your diet can help in many cases. My doctors had all completely disregarded diet as a way to help, and I started by going on a bunch of super harsh medications that I hated. Finally I got desperate to get off them, so I started looking into diet, and I did an elimination diet, which completely put me into remission for years. Nowadays, I control it completely through diet. Anyway, you obviously do what you feel is best in your situation, but I only share because I so wish someone would have shared that with me. Best of luck as you get it all figured out!! ❤️

I love that, despite feeling crappy, you still have the courage, motivation and joy to continue looking after your family and home. Its very inspiring!!! I'm a nurse and my hubby is a Dr (Not specialists in this area though) and it sounds very much like some form of inflammatory processes happen. Autoimmune sounds like a very reasonable path to be investigating down. Maybe something like Fibromyalgia or Rheumatoid Arthritis?? But again, this is definitely not our area of expertise. Super stoked that you are being so proactive with your health and getting these things tested/checked out. You are amazing Becky! I love watching your videos. :)

I was feeling bad with all kinds of symptoms for 15 years before I was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. It’s so tough when you feel lousy & no one can tell you why. I did a lot of reading & studying and I actually was instrumental in helping the Dr come to his diagnosis. I hope they can come to a firm diagnosis in your case❣️

I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been struggling with your health. What you explained is exactly what I’ve been struggling with for most of my life. I’ve since been to a myopractor/naturopath and suggested the carnivore diet. I was sceptical but was at my wits end and was prepared to try anything. So I’ve been doing carnivore for the last 3 months and surprisingly the symptoms you described disappeared. I’ve got quality of life again. As a mother of 4 young children this is exactly what I needed to keep up with our busy life. All the best 😊💞

I understand how you’re feeling… about 8months ago, I was diagnosed with autoimmune Crohn’s disease. I’ve had symptoms for over 10 years (I am 29). Joint pain, anemia, stomach upset, and others. I never thought everything would be connected, similar to your story. I was tested for what felt like everything under the sun. Basically, I’m just trying to say that you’re not alone, and while it will never be easy and you literally never feel 100%, things do get SO much better with treatment!

P.s. our diet is so important. Inflammatory foods r also a huge problem. Plain basic foods without additives n sugar really does help. Hidden sugars everywhere. All the best...

Hi Becky! Not sure if you are familiar with Tabitha Brown but she’s shared that she had a similar pain for years and changed her diet and it’s done wonders for her. She’s vegan now. She went to doctors for the longest and there were no definitive answers. Consider altering your diet for 2 weeks to see if you feel any different. All the best to you! 🙏🏾🧡

I have had the same symptoms for about 2 years. Joint pain mainly my hands wrists and knees and I always feel swollen. Also tested for Lupus which was negative. My doctor was thinking maybe fibromyalgia but nothing confirmed yet. Had MRI of wrists and knees confirmed inflammation in tissues but still waiting for a definite answer.

I’m 33 with 4 kids and have had to have both shoulders repaired. They aren’t due to injury or overuse from sports/work. I have signs of osteoarthritis in my joints. My orthopedic surgeon kept telling me how rare it is that to operate on a 30 year old female who needs both shoulders repaired most likely caused from genetics (my dad had shoulder surgery twice, once in his 30s) I will be praying for you that you find the answers on what is going on!
