I love the way she decorates her home because each area is not saturated but rather neat and elegantly designed. The apple picture frame embraces the entire room and it gives a sweet vibes to the whole room.( the green painted wall is juxtaposition with the apple painting. Every area in each of the room is beautifully placed. Loved, love Mrs. Emma Parton’s kitchen because looks fantastic without cabinets! Mrs. Emma’s home made me dream about living in one with due respect.

Love the juxtaposition of the modern, fresh take of the property. IMHO its a love letter to this home by the new owners. The velvet lamp on the "cocaine" bar, the apple print with the sconces, the interior colors says it all to me. The pure definition of a " Forever home ".

My family lived in this Suffolk village in the 1980s and I know this house in the square but have never been in it so curious to see the interior. They have done a lovely job reviving it and I hope the family bring energy and life into the area. Thank you for sharing

We used to live just down the road in The Brooks. The village might have lost most of its shops but the houses have been wonderfully renovated as this house shows👍

I wasn’t sure I’d like this as I do enjoy houses decorated with more of a nod to their period. But I think she’s breathed new life into every space with beautiful and well considered pieces and colours. It’s actually quite refreshing to not be a prisoner to a period.

No uppers well done. The monolith ? Tuck that crap in the Island. Cooktops are best on an outside corner to grab the fumes. Exterior door perpendicular to access the garden kitchen. Very very pretty room I love it.

Her home isn't necessarily the best of British in my opinion...it's nice but nothing special or wow about it. Sometimes people love pieces put them in their homes and hope it works.. this feels like that. No cohesion.

Must have been scary for you but you did well. I too have to use a mid century lamp due to the fact I could not install a light above my sitting room either. Maybe a coat armoire in the entryway for shoes and coats. Love the West Elm sofa and the baskets are great and mirrors. I love the drinks cabinet with that design definite a conversation piece and vintage too. Love the array of time periods and modern-ness and eccentricity. Adorable kitchen so big too easy function and design. I am envious of having so much space to roam and create. Well done Emma and family :)

That happened to me too, they also stole the radiators, toilet seat, and dug out half the plants from the garden. We called our lawyer immediately only to be told there was nothing we could do except take them to court, which would cost more than the value of the items and take forever.

To be honest I think I would have spent some of the money on making the house warm. It’s beautiful, though a little too of the moment for my taste. But at the moment there is too much of a feel of all fur coat and no knickers as the saying is. Whilst it was not decorated would have been the perfect time to put in better heating. Still I suppose there are always fabulous jumpers.
