This woman is so talented and so engaging. She is one of a very, very few Homeworthy hostesses that I felt I could easily hang out with. The negative comments are RIDICULOUS. I, for one, very much enjoy touring a real home once in a while- the majority of the home tours here are through houses that easily sell for millions of dollars- out of reach for most of us. Beautiful home, Laura! Thank you for bringing us through your home!

I used ceramic Christmas trees in rooms and one large nativity for Christmas. I love pop up cards for Halloween and silhouettes! I love how LAURA SOLENSKY did her garden! She needs some shells in her beds outside to tie the house to the outdoors?

Anyone who watches a video such as this one and can’t take away a positive is the problem. Not the homeowner. I loved all her special little moments that weren’t immediately apparent, but spotted upon closer inspection. This video was inspiring. I, too, love ship and ocean art. I’m working on my own collection. I got some fun ideas from this home tour. ❤

Such courage! I just painted my ceiling and fireplace “Soar” Sherwin Williams (azure almost) and walls a color match from a pink dress with no black. I bought black granite for the hearth and black slate tile with black grout for the fireplace. I am happiest with that! I have 5 pieces of Mom’s pale green silk brocade hand carved furniture from family for 5 generations. I lived in a white walled house until this month! I want more sconces after watching!

I loved this home… it was so real and not a Mac mansion that will never be affordable for me. This home is so warm and welcoming and she and her husband did a beautiful job restoring it to its current beautiful condition. ❤ I will take many of her designs and try to work them into my home. 😊

My Goodness, this is a beautiful home !! Laura and Ryan did an excellent job. For this to be Ryan’s first builds, he did such a good job. Laura, I love the colors, furniture, textiles, dishware, wallpaper, Everything. I’m glad you are using and enjoying your grandmother’s things. And yes, there were candy dishes on the coffee tables. And you had one of my childhood favorites, Jolly Ranchers❤. You found some pretty good thrift finds. The living room is my favorite, it’s so beautiful and dog friendly. The backyard is pretty as well, love the plants and flowers. I think you do have a green thumb. Laura is very authentic and doesn't put on any heirs. Her home is cozy and I love the greens (my colonial is greens also), love the bookcases, the vintage thrifted furniture, and adding molding to her 1980's built house is a very, very wise idea that has big impact. Also love how she uses touches of gingham and floral prints mixed around. Great job!

I really loved seeing this home because it’s very much something I could see myself living in, it’s so relaxed and beautiful!! I love greens and blues and thrifted finds. Her vibe is great and I feel like if I met her in real life we’d be fast friends. My own home has just a touch of boho to it but I really enjoy the nautical touches and always a touch of traditional mixed in (I kept as much of my grandparents items as I could and I love a good estate sale!). Love her style, her taste in music (fellow swiftie) and her budgeting tips (Etsy is such a great resource for rugs!) but if I could kindly give her a word of advice as someone who has also been guilty of doing this: girl, don’t disparage yourself by way of your partner! He did those home projects for you, I’m sure he loves you and your creative eye. Whatever ventures you choose, it sounds like he’ll take you seriously and will be supportive, so have some confidence in that! While you may have thought he hated antiquing and see it as a pastime not worth his while, I think his actions speak differently. He sounds invested in you and your interest ❤

This was such an incredible and inspirational home tour. I’ve watched it twice.
