I agree. I struggled to hear her sometimes, or would only get half of the sentence. Not quite sure why she was hard to understand. Absolutely no problem with the clarity of her husband or the narrator. Great apartment and wonderful kitties!

Their entire home is perfection. It's both chic and cozy, and the color choices are perfection. I don't think I've ever seen a NYC apartment that I wanted to spend more than 30 seconds inside, but this couple nailed it. I'm going to watch this vid at least 10 more times. My favorite aspect of the decor is the series of gallery walls. The art choices are excellent and the arrangements very appealing. The tips for renters about peel and stick tiles, moldings, and picture hangers are handy.

I love your apartment. It is sophisticated, friendly, and yet feels intimate and special without being over the top. I could imagine having coffee and a long chat with a friend, reading a book or sharing a cocktail with a loved one or cooking a lazy breakfast. Her apartment is what design is made of! It’s so curated and meaningful. It’s huge for NY. They added so much personality and architectural interest. The gallery walls didn’t even seem overwhelming. I usually think 1 is enough in a small space. But this is comfortable and not cluttered. Obsessed!

Yes! I totally agree and just watched that video. Honestly, it’s a new trend the vintage looking photos, gallery walls, same traditional wall scones my mother used to have on her wall both of them have in their bedrooms. White and bright living spaces. Skinny tall candles. Open shelves in kitchen. I’m loving the vintage trend but don’t want it to turn into a cookie cutter thing. Like everyone keep doing farmhouse, grey and coastal. 😆 I see random trendy stuff her and Anna have like the old man vintage painting, or the H designer blanket, the sculpture all getting too played out.

This was so enjoyable after watching a boring white renovated apt tour. The apt had a beautiful original 1905 working fireplace and she updated/changed it.😕 You would have loved and appreciated it's original beauty. I adore your home and your sincere appreciation. I learned so much, thank you. You are a lovely couple and it was more enjoyable listening to you two talking about your home than an designer trying to convince me she put a lot of thought and work into designing a white 2,000 sf space. This is so beautifully done, cosy, welcoming and incredibly stylish. Lovely use of each space, and some great ideas for creating temporary features in a rental property too. Didn't know you could own a Picasso original for under a $1000, how cool is that. I have watched hundreds of home designs, many by professional designers, and I have to say this is one of the very best ones. Rather than a collector’s or hoarders dream, it is beautifully designed. My God you both are design superstars - this looks like a beautifully well-done boutique hotel - incredible ingenuity and design flair! I feel it must have taken some good amt of cash to pull it all of but you had good instincts overall. Try working Craigslist in reverse. (Sell off unnecessary or unbeautiful stuff.) Editing down can be more satisfying than acquiring. Tightening up groupings also helps... even in a maximalist apartment.

Another charming, elegant, intelligent home with personality. It strikes me that the atmosphere when you actually enter would feel both welcoming and elevating. Always a great combination. I enjoy homes that feel both dramatic and imposing in their theatrical atmosphere AND warm and comforting at the same time.
