Congratulations! Don't down-sell what works for you and your family! It's a beautiful HOME! I don't think the convenience of the bottles is a big deal at all. Plenty of kitchens have half baths right off of them! Also, LOVE the laundry setup up! Every house needs that!

My husband, son, and I used to live in a 1000 sq ft condo 2 bed 2 bath for about 7 years. We love the coziness of the home. We now are living in my childhood home and are renting out the condo. I’m so grateful to be living here. My dad has passed and mom is remarried and not attached to this house. I am very attached to it, I’m comforted living here. LOVE your kitchen/living area! Open floor plans are great, especially with little ones. Great amount of cabinet and counter space. Love how there is no wasted space. Wasted space is just more to furnish, clean, and keep cool/warm. Don’t think having your grandmother with you is weird at all. My dad passed in 2012 to leukemia. He is resting about 40 minutes from our house. I wish he were much closer. My son just turned 21 on 2/23, I wish they had sterilizers like that back then! Nice! So many advances in baby item since he was a baby.

I think its perfect! the bigger the house the bigger the mess not having to go upstairs as much because everything is downstairs and where the laundry is located to the closets. I would love to live there as well! Congrats to you both!

Yes! We havent shared a blanket in years. BEST THING EVER! Also, I never understood why people make their beds. We also kept the baby bottles in our bathroom. It just makes so much sense!

I agree a million percent with 2 comforters! It’s just easier that way. My husband and I have been together for 20+ years and we have different sleep schedules, he’s a construction worker so he literally gets up at 2am to leave for work, so he goes to bed between 6 and 7pm. I go to bed around 10-11pm and get up around 6am. I was tired of having to try to get covers in the middle of the night, especially cause I am always cold and he’s always hot (which led to him sleeping on top of the blanket and then I really couldn’t get any covers). Love the house. Congrats (I’m mad at KZbin for just now showing me this video, days late).

Thanks for this video! A lovely home for a lovely family! If the candle closet door is the same size as the door with the damage, you could switch the doors pretty easily. Doesn't sound like the damage bothers you much, but I had to put this here because I'm a Virgo, and this is what I would do, move the damage to a less visible part of the house.

Protip for the garden: PLANT CLOVERS! Grass is fragile and needs SO much water. Clover is green, soft, cheap, tougher and it needs less water!

Having two comforters is amazing and you are 100000% right. How I make my bed is I have a decorative comforter that is not used, only for aesthetics (I didn't go out of my way to buy it it just worked out this way) and I put the two comforters that are actually used under the aesthetic comforter. Aesthetic comforter covers up the two comforters that are actually used.

Mine and my husband's sleeping arrangements started with separate blankets...almost 12 years later and we don't even share a room anymore. For most people that would be a HUGE red flag, but for us it has been AMAZING! I don't keep him awake and he doesn't keep me awake. I wake up when I want to (when the little kids wake up) and he wakes up when he wants to (either for work or me telling him to wake up). Going back to Downton Abbey style (minus the nanny. lol) has been amazing for our marriage. 😂

My son has sensory processing disorders, among other things. And my entire house is pretty bare. No pictures, just a single crate of toys, no coffee tables, carpets....do what works for you. And quite frankly, it's easier to keep tidy and it's a generally calmer atmosphere.
