The colour pallet in this house is beautiful - deep and powerful earth tones. The backsplash in the kitchen was stunning. Is it Normal in Canada to not have your garden fenced off when paying a new home? Sea grass flooring would look stunning through that house.

Yes it’s stunning aesthetics I absolutely love them! New builds in Canada don’t come with fenced in yards and most don’t come with backyard decks either. This is a show home so it sells as is with all these nice features but if it weren’t a show home most of these things would not be included. In most cases you would talk to your neighbours and split the cost for the fence as long as both neighbours are on the same page. Sea grass sounds beautiful i didn’t even think of that. Hi there. Thanks for this upload. We're in Winnipeg as well and are looking to purchase or build but we seem to be having difficulty either finding a home with a closed kitchen concept in a good area, or builders not building homes with a closed kitchen. It's a must for us, we don't like that food smells goes round the house and lingers throughout winter. Any advise for us? Thanks .

Nowadays most people prefer the open concept look because it makes your space look larger so new homes seem to follow this trend. I think your best bet would be to go for an older home, like at least 15 plus years old as homes from that era had more compartmentalization and you are more likely to find closed off kitchens, living rooms etc ...wishing you the best of luck in your home search, It can be exciting but stressful!
