I really enjoyed Jenn and her lovely home. I am not a gray and white person, so I loved all the color that she incorporated. I think older homes with the arches are so charming. This home has character! ❤

I remember Jenn from the Oprah episode many years ago... Nate Berkus had a design contest and she won and at the time she was not an interior designer. It must have been 16 years ago because her oldest was a newborn. Caught a photo of her and her husband with Oprah on her bookcase. Love her taste. 😍

Overall not my personal, taste but I do appreciate how she embraces hers. Very organized and functional as well. The thing that I enjoy most in these videos are the little collections that people cherish and display around the home and this lady did not disappoint in that department. Also appreciated particular pieces of furniture.

A beautiful family home! Kids, dog ,books and collected over time decor. What’s not to love? Shout out to Round Top Texas! I believe this designers powder room is the most gorgeous that I’ve seen on this channel. The kitchen counter tops are perfection. The family room, plate rack door and upstairs are all designed so beautifully. I loved her Oprah and Nate story. Will be rewatching this home tour again. It’s my new favorite.

I love the way there is a lot of stuff, but it's all organized in a way that doesn't feel cluttered. There is a balance. I also love how some rooms have darker colours schemes and some lighter. I relate to this home.

I never comment on any house but OMG this house was absolutely GORGEOUS! Every room has so much thought and creativity. The different colors and styles were all cohesive. I enjoy taking inspiration from a select part of someone’s home but I LOVED EVERY ROOM in her house. I’m in awe 🥹🫶🏼

Loved this home tour! So many beautiful features in this collected home. I got tons of inspiration from this homeowner. I love that she honored her husband’s request and didn’t touch that beautiful mirror. That is so touching and such a treasure! Her grandmother’s pieces are perfect. Love she kept the original upholstery on the back cushion. The laundry room was amazing. So many great ideas in this home. The paper towel idea is genius. I don’t like paper towels on the counter either. She has a multitude of beautiful curated treasures 😊❤

This is a great example of how a home can be more on the neutral/monochromatic side (I know she does have colors but they tend to be in the same family as the neutrals like the grayish green instead of bright primary colors or contrasting ones) but still make your space interesting and full of character! Doesn't have to be bland or look straight from an IKEA catalog!

Beautiful home! I love a moody laundry room. The grill in the cabinets in the butlers pantry was so gorgeous. The idea of the “cloffice” was sweet, especially keeping her grandmothers fabric on the back of the seat cushion. It’s nice to see some types of homes that aren’t the traditional southern style.

One of the best homes featured to date. I enjoyed every space. Luv a curated coffee table. Your closet/office is a special space. I love how you’ve paid homage to your grandmother. The color palette of the first level is my favorite, especially the contrast between the dark academia and then, surprise! The clean white kitchen palette. The laundry room is small, but adorable. You’ve given me many ideas for my next build. Thanks for sharing.

I actually love the California design aesthetic. But as soon as Jenn was talking about the palette and seasonality of her home, I immediately realised what she meant. She’s definitely achieved her aims with her home. It complements the California lifestyle, while being comfortably rich and heavy (in a good way) in details you’d see in the other places that inspire her.

I’d remove that Texan theater chair from the hallway and push the drawer away from the wall, but center underneath the huge black board painting. It seems like she likes to fill in every space with knickknacks and frames, but many books covering a beautiful coffee table seem too excessive. She’s a creative, fun, & sweet mom! Love it, and the personality she showcase!

I truly enjoyed this tour for several reasons, the homeowner has furnished it lovingly keeping in mind that she has two boys. Nothing is too precious, the upholstery fabric isn’t some famous maker whose name she casually dropped as other homeowners do every two minutes. The things she did treasure, (the glasses) were safe behind cabinet doors. She has created a beautiful yet very practical home, the one thing I would ask her to do (seriously) is to keep Frankie’s food in an airtight container. Right now that open bin allows it to go stale very quickly. Even our chickens, sheep and donkeys food is kept in bins with screw lids 💕🥰💕

Thank God for color! I too am a green person influenced by my aunt, an ID, from a conversation 40 years ago when she told me green, the color of nature, is a neutral. Thank you for giving me the final push to have my family room repainted high gloss BM Antique Pewter, a moody gray green versus a safe off white. The high gloss comes from Liz Caan’s blue high gloss family room that I’ve loved forever.

That's what design is all about - your and your family's lifestyle, needs and personal preferences. Her home is a functional blend of mostly modern neutral style almost minimalist in parts and a sort of Dark Academia classic design style with a bit of a bit of feminine, yet again classic style maximalism. Love all the extra attention spent on details, her thoughtful approach and solutions. I'm crushing on the kitchen, especially that divine countertop and that beautiful laundry room. I'm smiling about the dressing-room-office:). Kudos! Interesting to hear how her design career got started. Thank you for the lovely tour. A woman designer after my own heart - you had me at "must have bookcases' and seeing all the clever, totally elegant-looking storage solutions everywhere.
