I love that she took her time and explained everything in her home. Edgy it's not, but pretty none-the-less. I have four kids, and I can't imagine how difficult it is to keep that space "unkid-ified"

All the homes are really lovely, very grand and perfectly designed with infinite attention to detail. I would like to see, however, some smaller homes into the mix that some of us, who dont live in large homes or expensive homes, can relate to as well. I appreciate that we can choose some features for our more modest homes from the grand ones but it would encourage us to also see that a modest budget can also be truly beautiful, unique and have a "story to tell".

A beautiful home and beautiful lady. I loved the traditional juxtaposed with contemporary. Probably my favorite Homeworthy tour to date. The fact that I live in Dallas and enjoy a traditional home plays into that, I’m sure. I appreciate a tidy and styled home, even with children, and so I know it is possible if you raise your children that way. I was raised so and do not feel I was in any way thwarted, but actually enriched because of it.

Love the entry floor. The entry is spacious. I hate how most traditional homes have the staircase presented in a cramped placed. In these homes, the stairs dominate the design. Your home is beautiful and welcoming. The stairs don’t dominate the entry.

@mturner2584 I am not surprised that she’s not a genuinely nice lady. I feel like her vibe comes across as being a perfect homemaker from the past. I mean she has a gorgeous and eclectic collection of art pieces that I really like! That said, I could see her being very rude to other people who don’t live the privileged lifestyle that she seems to love. I mean she kept showing her luxury designer items, but in a way that seemed pretty selfish and precocious way. When I made a comment a few days ago some random lady snapped back at me saying she was offended personally by my comment, she said some ladies love doing stuff for their husbands and spoiling them is the best way to live as a family. I was perplexed because all I said was that this lady explained about having so many males in their home and how her being the matriarch-type lady was special to her. She added that the reason the house is decorated in a feminine style is because she has to deal with her three boys and husband, so that was what she deserved, a home that looks more feminine than most homes. I just found that to be really passive-aggressive in that she must be treated like she is a special little princess 👸, just because she is surrounded by a family of males. 😂

Oh my, Mrs. Erin’s dress and yellow jacket are fine styles. It set the mood of her collected beautiful decorated home. I cannot imagine myself living in a large home because I’ve always live in small apartment. However, if given the opportunity to house a space as her, so amazingly decorative, it gives the impression that the furnitures is being used and lived in every way. Mrs. Erin shows sophistication, feminine, artistic Qualities ( which is good for ownership). She teaches the audience about textiles, paintings, wall papers good qualities. Blue/green and coral colors are my favorite. I enjoyed the ease of her presentation of her home because she displayed each room with being pretentious but with simple sophistication styled. Godly, I wish I could have been able to work for this lady, even it’s to clean her home because her home and she appear to be a peaceful, vibrant, and calm location to be nestled in!🙏

I want to see her painting in her studio and going crazy. She's like the artist and the docent. Not much of the house is really my taste in decor, but the kitchen was nice and the secret office was fun. She looks like she stepped off the set of Steel Magnolias! The jacket and dress are cute. To be honest I don't like it that much... is too much in some areas she has a lot of things when is so simple to just stay with less plants , furniture , or paintings ....a little less things would look more spacious, clean to the eye, relaxed and elegant . as they say less is more.. well this is one of those cases... is beautiful ... don't get me wrong everything looks good but too much things makes it look messy and not elegant or classy just saying

I’m totally agreeing with you one hundred percent! I think her house is pretty but maybe seems more like a hoarding situation that was created in a manner that is giving me cluttered scattered and it’s so very unwelcoming to me. However, I do think her things are really pretty,but she seems like she’s just trying way too hard to seem perfect. That outfit is a gorgeous choice and it looks great on her. I’m really not trying t ok be mean, I think it’s fine that she has her own style and hope she gets some help with her hoarding.

I mentioned that a few days ago and I was slammed with a negative lady who thought I was being disrespectful and offended her because she just took everything in a personal way. I’m a lady and I was raised to be honest and truthful m, but with respect to others that are different than I. I just thought the way she mocked me was so hilarious because she said “ how dare you knock a lady for wanting to take care of and spoil her husband. I was like okay Karen!
