Yeah, I cringed when she said that and I don't even know who Graham is. A handyman is someone who will unclog your plumbing, help you move your fridge or put some WP-40 on your door hinges. This kind of unskilled labour. Surely someone with the skills to make all those beautiful things she showed us is not a handyman but a highly skilled professional!

Alexandra understands movement / dynamism within a space, juxtaposition, texture, furniture and object quality, and the power of hue and color. This is an intelligence that will only deepen with linear age. While some people in the comments seem to know of Alexandra, this is the first time I've come upon her/her work. I predict a terrific path ahead, and an even greater deepening of her visual agilties. Good taste IS a kind of music or poetry, a kind of insight. She's got it.

He literally calls himself a handyman. It's in his IG handle, too, and I'm pretty sure it's been in video descriptions. He's a carpenter, an artist, who brings her visions to life - but he is also skilled in many other trades, not just carpentry. A very handy dandy handyman, at that! Also, there's nothing wrong or degrading about being a 'handyman' and I keep seeing people being so pressed about their choice to use this term.

Not AG twice this week!!!❤ I love that she advocates for making small changes and her team (Hey Graham!) does ambitious projects as well. My confidence in designing my own apartment has improved. I even have a throw with pink pom-poms on my bed. The fact that it's taken her time to complete her space makes me feel less guilty about some lingering diy projects around here. Her book is also a great resource and a great addition to my bedroom!

I Love Alexandra and her Team. Her studio fix playlist is phenomenal. The first one is particularly moving - for a close friend of Alexandra's. In Alexandra and Noah's home there is also another room that is Noah's office - Alexandra and Graham made over wardrobes to fit the sloping ceiling in that space. It has a trunk from Noah's ancestor.

That's true but Noah's office wasn't included in this tutorial and it was one of the spots that got huge updates with it's built in storage but it's always evolving ,maybe that is why it wasn't included .

I actually like the kitchen island top! There's already a lot going on in the kitchen visually-speaking, and the wood really gives warmth. Tile would make it look cold/ less cozy. I think a tile side or coffee table would be nice if done right. Especially since a coffee table would typically be surrounded by soft furnishings that would naturally create balance.
