Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me today while I share this new around the house happenings with you! It was a weird one for me. I can't really explain why. But I did a little organizing to my pantry, finally throwing some labels on baskets- woooh watch out! I did some laundry, and I'm sharing a homegoods haul! So many great goodies, really! AND I'm sharing some updates about the house! We're adding onto the house and they are finally starting, woo hoo!! It's a big deal! Still waiting on concrete as I type this... but you know-- delays. We have extremely low expectations when it comes to a time frame these days lol

My mother-in-law is my version of your sister in law. She lives 3 mins away and I would never have it any other way. She is such a blessing in my life and treats me so well. She is super mom and women. Every day I love to learn from her. I married my husband at 20 so she sort of has been raising me into the women I am now 7 years later. Lovely video as always Kim :)

I love putting labels on things, as well as writing list etc. Kim you are amazing, the children will have great fun helping you plant and grow things. With the potatoes put them somewhere dark, when ready to plant they take 100 days to grow, video on KZbin helped explain it all. I'm growing fruit and vegetables this year.

Just noticing your floor cleaner. Just bought one two days ago . Used it first time today I love it. We live in NJ but spent 1 month AUGUST, in Florida the summer before last looking for a place to live. Never happened when we moved back to NJ we downsized to a 1 bedroom with tile from the front door through the entire apartment. I’m 77 husband 79 , the floors were killing us. So we got the floor cleaner, Bissell, I’m so happy.,thank you for your blog. I saw you using one . I watch you as I’m not that motivated anymore and you have so much energy!,,

Kim, you’re amazing! Love love love your videos! I don’t have my life together by any means (but maybe sometimes it feels like it), but I’m a mom of 6, we homeschool and we’re home A LOT, so I’ve learned some coping skills along the way that maybe might help you? The number one thing I learned to do as my family grew was to create SYSTEMS for EVERYTHING. ❤️❤️❤️ I made chore charts for kids, and I train them around 7-8 to do a lot of tasks around the house- dishes, laundry, organizing, cleaning, dusting, etc. I made month-long lists of meals so I don’t have to keep coming up with ideas. I also teach my kids to cook. 🎉 The number two thing is I delegate as much as family can handle. Not sure if you’ll even read this, because you are so loved with so many comments and probably have all of this figured out anyway. Thanks for making great videos! ❤️

Honestly life gets you. I have 4 kids. Yes laundry is a daily project. Dinner, running here and there. By bed time I am exhausted. But I tell myself daily be thankful for another day of life. I call bullshit on half these women who post stuff with multiple kids that post links to buy this or that each day. Post how perfect life is blah blah. And you aren't trying to buy your viewers. Kim, when you plant those trees, put a barrier around them so the lawn guy sees them and doesn’t drive over them. I’ve seen people put tall wood stakes around them and mesh or chicken wire. I had a neighbor who planted a whole orchard in her yard (6-8 trees). When I had my big garden, I planned where I would put each thing, took soil samples to the county extension office, they gave me a print out of what I needed to augment the soil in that spot. It worked out great, each veggie needed different nutrients. Also, I’m in Pennsylvania, Florida soil and veggies need different care. Recently I’ve seen some other KZbinrs making raised gardens….much better than when I was digging in the dirt on a 1/3 acre!

There's a mom on my son's soccer team.. Her husband is the coach and an elementsry school gym teacher, her kids are wonderful, SHE is wonderful. She's a travel nurse. I posted on my Facebook a meme and it said "say something nice, I just want to read.." She posted that I'm the kindest person she's met and she is envious of my dedication to my kids and how close we are... I work part time because my husband's hours at his job, we have no help so I take the kids everywhere. Kim! You mentioned Wolfgang being needy in the video and also puking always. My eldest son had undiagnosed reflux and he was spitting up on everything and everyone for a year. He was also the fussiest of all. There is a very simple treatment that I wish we had known about, it would have made him more comfortable. Our pediatrician never mentioned it and I only found out years later.

I know several others have already said it, but seriously, you ARE the woman across the room to me! I only have one kiddo and I am not a quarter as productive as you. In one of your last videos, you talked about getting a wardrobe that fits you, and I so needed that. I’ve been feeling defeated, carrying around my baby weight for much longer than I anticipated and I’m still holding out for fitting into my old clothes rather than buying clothes that fit me now and make me feel good about myself. What a difference it makes when you feel good about how you look though! I’m finally ready to get some things that fit me now while I work toward my body goals. Thanks for the encouragement :)

Kim! talking to your plants is what i did before (i put songs on and everything), they're all bloomed and looked absolutely gorgoes. i dont even have yard in my house now, all of my plants are in pots, and i talked to them while i water them every day. seeing how much growth they have each day is sooo encouraging and does wonders for my mental health. i even got my kids to get interested in gardening. so excited for you to start your own garden! can't wait to see more of that!

Kim, as a gardener - please try to get your hands on seed potatoes from the nursery. They are inoculated with anti fungus stuff. If you grow from the grocery store it will set you back months of watering and hard work and you won’t have anything to show for it. I started growing potatoes in a 20 gallon food grade container and because it was 2020 and there was a shortage of seed potatoes I used the organic grocery store spuds. It didn’t work out too great- 50% was edible and the rest were too tiny so I used them as “seed potatoes” for 2021. They ended up getting attacked by weevils and tiny spiders and all season I was going out there every night with my insecticidal soap spray to get them off. Alas I ended up with less potatoes than the previous year because it was growing in too much shade. I gave up growing potatoes after that. But you will have plenty of space and sunshine and God will water it for you so you don’t have to worry much. I’m excited for your garden adventures.

KIM! Please! We love you dearly. But! Yes but! You cannot do your sweet & wonderful ine of "I'm doing the best I can". With plants. Especially fruit trees. You Have to care for them. Plant them in the right place, keep rowdy kids from pulling the leaves ,n watch for Deer and WATER them when it's needed. Florida is Hard, humidity, heat etc. But if you take Care of it it will flourish. We know you can do it. You show us everytime you post how amazing you are and how much you get done, which always seems impossible to us. Woohoo-go for it!!!💚💚💚💚🌱🌱🌳

The addition will look larger with each step along the way. It’s crazy. We are finishing up our house and when it was just a slab I thought it was going to be tiny. Then with stud walls it still looked small to me but then when they did Sheetrock it was like a whole different house! Everything suddenly was huge! I’m so excited for you guys! You started looking at houses around the same time we started planning our build and we are still a few weeks away from moving in. It’s been such a long process. So I feel ya in the getting frustrated with delays. I’ve learned that everything takes at least three times longer than promised lol But so, so happy for you!!

You could probably find a lemon tree at a Produce market. We have Southside Produce here in Louisiana. My dad had got one and it produced the biggest juiciest lemons I’ve ever seen. We actually ended up juicing the lemons and freezing them in ice cube trays and would just pop em’ out when we needed it.

On some fruit trees you need at least two. We had a apple tree it grew but never had apples, grapefruit tree grew really really large but only a few and I mean 3, went talked a pro and he said get one of each but don’t plant them next to the established trees. Kid you not by the next season we had so much fruit we were giving them away. Good luck

Take it from an empty nester it's all true, you will miss them, and it happens so fast. And then you'll have to contend with boomerang kids...just when you think they are gone they come back, so you charge outrages rent and put up a chore chart on the fridge. that'll learn 'em!!! A SLIDING DOOR between laundry and Girls' hallway will break up tunnel effect and make laundry room feel more spacious. More importantly SHORTENS THE DISTANCE from dryer to girls' closets. Screened-in hammock lounge might be cheapest outdoor hangout space and accommodates overnight teens.

I have 2 plum trees my FIL gave us when we lost our daughter at 26weeks. We make a plum cobbler every year. It's delicious!
