I'm struck by how Ben reacts when he gets bad news about a reno, like structural damage (he just kinda takes in good-humored stride) and the way Tarik from "Flip or Flop" reacts with major melt downs/tantrums when he gets bad news. Home Town is so much more pleasant to watch, IMO.

Once again, Ben and Erin, you have gone over the top and the personalization and creativity in this home bye having so much custom-made items throughout the house. The love you put into a home it is profound and I love how you bring in Word from different areas of the community to make furniture such as the lovely bench between the two windows and so many things throughout the entire house; how clever to have the artist make the Stainglass window in the bathroom… I do Stainglass and that was so unique & You did a wonderful job bringing in fabrics around the shower which helped draw your eye to that Stainglass!!❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️The front entrance and repainting of the House and the redesign of the porch totally totally change the looks of the bungalow house and gave it I lovely curb appeal♥️♥️Fantastic job that was a lovely comment that the new homeowner said at the end about growing old gracefully in her New home…People love you guys so much for what you do to their homes! God bless you and don’t forget to take care of yourself♥️♥️

They would hate my great grandfather house that he built. The walls are crazy thick. Inside wall air gap then outside wall. There is enough space to stand between the outside glass door and the wood front door. And all the doors are that thick. He started with a one room house and added the other rooms as he could afford them. He used wood to build his house and varnished every bit of it and every hole and nail and screw. He didn't want his house to be eaten by termites or fall apart.

I don’t like the bench, but it doesn’t cover the window. The windows on the side are a lot taller than the middle window, and the middle window is level with the top.

Only three things I didn’t like in the finished design: the chandelier in the dining room, the slip-covered dining room chairs, and the hideous shower curtain (with valance!) in the master bath. All in all, though, they did an incredible job. I love how they can restore these old homes to their former glory.
