Geez ............ Riding a horse AND playing an instrument .......... that takes some doing ! Not the finest rendition of Preobrazensky I've ever heard, but, as stated, riding AND playing takes some coordination, plus keeping the horses in formation as well ! Wow !!! SuperNutkin

the video shows at min 1:45, 4:03, 4:27 and 5:16 DISMOUNTED Life Guards officers marching along the troops. Does anyone know why they wear a cocked hat with white upright plume. I know that only LG Medical and Veterinary officers wear cocked hats but with different feathers, red or black. Thank you very much in advance

Those are the grenadier guards. Coldstream guards wear scarlett, Irish guards; blue, and Welsh guards wear white-green-white

Thank you for your attention SuperPapadzul. But you are referring to Foot Guards bearskin plume, while I was referring to Household Cavalry, Life Guards dismounted officers walking along the troops at the mins shown above, and to their COCKED-HATS and plumes

To Ryan Ellison. Thank you for your attention. But the officer is wearing a Life Guards Regimental Full Dress Uniform, not a General's Uniform. I'm afraid he can't be a General. Thank you all the same for your help

Late response and you might have figured it out by now, but they are officers in the regimental headquarters. I.e. quartermasters, adjutants etc.
