I personally don't mind some sets being a bit lower on power level or just supporting other decks more. We've gotten to a point where if the set isn't game breaking it's just a snore fest until some cards over preform later then players start clamoring for product.

Yeah OTS cards seem to fall flat more often than not. Its usually old staples or archetype cards for decks that are about to be executed by a banlist or decks that are past their prime months before they get an OTS ulti. OTS packs have really lost their draw imo

People keep shitting on SUDA and I’m perfectly fine with that if it makes Meowls and a couple other pieces cheap in the beginning. I’m actually very excited for this set and I did preorder a Tenyi and Hero core of this support. In part due to fear of not as many opening it long term as well as possible artificial inflation of the rarity bumped pieces; especially in hero. We all know how the market likes to fuck with us hero players on prices.

It’s funny because I’m in the opposite camp. I see it as a very fun looking set between the Tenyi, Hero, and Mitsurugi cards plus Meowls is extremely underestimated.

In terms of meta, its only like 5 cards that are going to be used. The rest is mostly for weaker archetypes so I can see why most would find this set middling in terms of value.
