These techniques were originally made for people with straight hair that was hard to grip. So of course it’s gentle enough for those with thin hair.

Is this a safer method rather than cornrow n sew??
@ProStylesAcademy4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t say safer as braids are seen as more protective, but with micro link weft it is 100000% less pulling and tension on your hair

Hey! Do you leave hair out between each weft?
@ProStylesAcademy5 жыл бұрын
Bobbi Lewis it really would depend on how many bundles the client wants to fit in how thick the clients natural hair is etc leave out enough hair around sides and clients parting and then fit as many rows as they would like in the hair left someone’s if they only want volume then you can do 2 rows with large gap inbetween and some clients want length and volume so you fit in 4-6 rows with no gaps

How many bundles of hairs was used?
@ProStylesAcademy4 жыл бұрын
Normally one maybe one and half for 16-18” if it’s longer length hair then often 2 bundles are needed for nice volume. However for ladies with thin hair it’s important not to add to much

Hi I'm new to weave how do you work out how much hair. Is it weight per head if so how much and if length how long so sorry on all questions x
@ProStylesAcademy5 жыл бұрын
Edwina Grant-Nichols hi our hair comes in bundles of 100grams so most people would purchase 2 and we use as much as needed often people have a little left over. So depending on length we would determine the price ie: 16” length is £75 and 18” is £80 etc

@ProStylesAcademy6 жыл бұрын
Sarah Roberts hi Hun I’m really sorry to hear that. I wouldn’t recommend hair extensions other than clip-ins that you take out daily. If your able to take supplement or anything to help improve hair only then would I advise to do extensions. Because they remain in your hair for 6/8/12wks the extra weight on your hair could make it thin even more xx praying for your health Hun x

Does this method hurt your hair in anyways and can you do various hairstyles without showing weave and tape/beads?
@ProStylesAcademy6 жыл бұрын
Hi Hun you will feel a little tension on your head first 1-3days because it’s someone new on your head. Also with regards to showing beads or tapes it really would depend on how thin/thick your natural hair is
@misstreas846 жыл бұрын
houseofhairuk London it’s thin and very silky, hence me wanting a more different method then the tips which fall out quickly in my hair.

I dislike this coined as LA weave because of the person who made it appear as her own thing years ago on KZbin. Its been a known thing for long before she did it. A lot of African Americans were doing it as a short cut way before. I don't like that unnamed person always gets credit for it and named it this
@ProStylesAcademy4 жыл бұрын
I feel the same way but that unknown has to step her game up something I am doing with trade marking it ASAP as her own method. I had been doing LA weave 🙄 for year but the la weave complaint went crazy investing in marketing and loads of ladies started calling asking for it I would say “do you mean braidless weave yes we do this xyz” i just started calling it LA weave so clients understood what I mean then they contacted me and forced me to do training with them or stop using the name. I didn’t have the money to do large scale advertising of my own method so just training with them. But I’m trademarking a few of my methods at the moment so this does not happen again x
