We know JT is the the engine that runs the whole offense and takes the tough defense so that everyone else can take advantage, but JB shined in the role we gave him and he is deserving too... if it went either way you could say it;s a snub...

Jayson Tatum had a helluva season. So much disrespect thrown at him this year and people couldn’t see that this was his best year in the league because he was willing to adapt to what the team needed and what had to be done to win games. I’m so proud of him and his level of maturity to put ego aside and numbers be damned to help make everyone around him better. I knew it. He is truly a Son of Sir Wardell; Jayson took it personally when Sir Wardell pulled the carpet underneath him at home in 2022. Internalised all the lessons Sir Wardell taught him and brought them to this Finals. Even the last minute when he got emotional, was just like Sir Wardell. As a Warriors fan, I am so proud of Jayson Tatum, and the Sons of Sir Wardell. Maybe if/when they repeat next year, I'll drop the nickname, but right now, it feels absolutely right. He accepted all that pressure. He drew in the double teams. Passed out of 61% of them from the passes that left his hand 50% from the two went in, and 45 from the three... he took all the pressure used his wiseodm and skill to fin the best open man and led the entire team in stats. Played the most effective Defense. Guarded 1-5. The sole reason we as a team didnt get destroyed by the mavs lobs and alley oops. Played up on luka when brown needed rest vecause luka was going OFF. Man really did it all. Brown did his job too. He played great defense, luka atill got his, but he scored efficiently and took advantage of the choices the opposing team made when they swarmed tatum. Greatness.
