I believe short of winning the game both coaches got what they wanted. England worked on the defensive side after a goal letting year. The US played some good starters in the back but mixed it up in the front. The game was much needed for both countries. Try things in a game that technically doesn’t count. Bravo to both teams .

1:53 the thing that most frustrates me about Lynn Williams is that she consistently takes too many touches and ruins opportunities. If she one-time right foots that, it’s a goal. At first she said it was a tough call b/c it wasn't obvious it had hit the body first - it was just that the arm was pretty close to the body, so even a shot directly into the arm would have been a rough penalty call. After they saw it hit the body first she said it was the right call to wave off the pen. Men's commentators do the same thing all the time. But you can go on about damaging women's football credibility if you want to.
