Donovan is a well spoken individual. Even as a Knicks fan, he is very professional in how he conducts himself and I wish no hate on him or any players/ teams. You set a great example in every interview. Good luck no matter what happens to either team.

Mitchell is incredible. Like most Knicks fans I’m very fond of him, he’s a Knick fan and New Yorker too As a Knicks fan I also know how dangerous and explosive this superstar is, what a leader. Mitchell did what he does and was the only Cav that didn’t get punked by Knicks. Love how much blame he tried to put on himself and try to ease his teammates but it’s on those kids Mitch 🤣 they ain’t us

This is exactly why he's overrated.... as great as he is offensively ... he leaves it open on the other side of the floor. And he's not the type of player to make others better around him. From a Cavs fan, bring the game Don. This first game is a good example of the rest of the series. We fought well and it was a close and hard fought game. There's a plethora of competitive matchups with Brunson, Randle, Mitchell and Garland as well as our front court with Mobley and Allen, we just gotta play hard. Focus on those rebounds and adjust schemes that hinder the Knick's offensive half court for this series. I wanna see a win at least in the first round, cmon Cavs, it's a young team versus a young team. Let's be that second generation of Cavalier excellence.

As a Knicks fan, dmitch balled out. He was clearly the best player on the court at all times and he was single handedly outhustling the entire Knicks team at points. His shot making ability is bar none and his athleticism is off the charts that dunk was insane. Nobody can guard him and I mean nobody. The look in his eyes was absolutely killer. He is my second favorite player in the league right after dame and when I heard the Knicks weren’t trading for him I was heartbroken. This guy is special, and will be great for a long time. Win or lose, he has already left a mark on the world
@griffindault
@griffindault Жыл бұрын
This game showed why the Knicks ultimately walked away from trade talks with the Jazz last year. Spida is a hell of a player of course but basketball still is a team game. The Knicks won tonight due in large part to their much better bench than the cavs a good deal of which would've been sent to Utah in a trade or in the case of Josh hart the assets that were used to acquire him mid season would've been already traded away.

@@griffindault grimes and probably quickly would have also been apart of it. And a core of Mitch randall rj Mitch and Brunson isn’t winning anything there is no chemistry and no defense on that team outside of robinson. Besides the Knicks couldn’t afford to give up the same assets the cavs did. I wanted him on the team but even I understood why it didn’t happen. It may still happen one day though so I’ll hold out hope

@@j.r.3945 yeah he may come as a FA in a couple years. However I think they are going to make a push for Jalen Brown in the off season if the Celtics basically don't win it all this year. There have been persistent rumors that he isn't really all that happy in Boston and also doesn't want to be 2nd fiddle to Tatum anymore. If that happens the 2 guard spot would be all set for the foreseeable future. Ultimately it's anyone's guess because the NBA is a crap shoot. I mean a year ago I doubt many people would have thought kyrie would be in Dallas and KD in Phoenix.

@@griffindault Mitchell tried to play team ball. He got no help (as usual). That's the problem. They threw up bricks and couldn't rebound.
@griffindault
@griffindault Жыл бұрын
@@thejenesisb5444 I wasn't saying anything negative about his play the point I was making is that he would have been in a similar situation if he had gotten traded to NY, he wouldn't have a lot of help on the roster, specifically the bench, because all those players/assets that became players would've gone to the Jazz.

Knick fans' talking crazy bruh. Once the Cavs win this MF series, we gonna have hella playoff experience and better expectations for the next season, and WE SIGNING DONOVAN MITCHELL to prob one of the biggest deals for a Cavs player ever. Once we bounce back and beat these Knicks in the series, we setup for next season and Don is fully committed as a Cav for a very long time❤🔥🙏🏽 Thats my take 🤟🏽
